hows the sound when just cruising doing some daily driving. i want something that isnt obnoxious whenever i have my foot on the gas lol. seems like this only really starts to pop when you go for a pull, which i like. also sounds much better than what ive heard on their website. honestly considering just getting a HFC bc apparently that will give the lowest sound vs a full exhaust setup

Honestly it's barely noticeable in normal driving mode since it upshifts so quickly. In sports mode when it holds the gears longer you get a bit more noise and the louder farts but it's not that bad. It's worth it over stock since it made zero noise and made it really boring.

did you end up just getting a hfc or did you downpipe it? i’m really not a big fan of the cold start with a downpipe. any advice?

@@nico-yf6ch i actually havent had anything done honestly. Got some nice rims but thats about it. Only thing I want to do really is get the honeycomb grill but im lazy. I financed mine for 7 years so ill prob trade it in for a SQ3 oe SQ5 before that runs out and maybe do some stuff on the SQ.

@@MattyBudzzz that’s pretty much what i did lol. i have stage 1 cold air intake and i did get that honeycomb grill. that was not fun to put on lol

@@nico-yf6ch lol part of the reason why i haven't gotten it yet, I just know its going to be a nuisance swapping it out. Id also want to spray the crash bar black too, unless theres a newer type since ive been looking that fills the honeycombs around the crash bar where you cant see it. So many clips and stuff, taking the bumper off just stresses me out. Dream would be an RS5 sportback but ha.. prob would be irresponsible and be car broke if i did that.. Kinda why I want to settle for S5 or SQ5 or Q5 sportback or something. I got 80k kms on my A4 and itd be paid off in 2027 so kinda want to trade it in

Sounds great! I think the IE advertising video sounds weird, this sounds much better. Could you post cold start and interior videos too? Do you think it’s that much louder than stock or drony?

Haha yeah I emailed them before I bought it asking them some questions about it since their videos aren't done too well. I can take take a cold start video soon. If the windows are up it's barely noticeable inside. I don't notice any drone but it has some rasp under boost. Stock exhaust was so quiet it was weird.

Just uploaded a cold start vid. You can hear a little bit of the rasp when revved.

all4bespinnin awesome thanks man. I think it sounds great but yeah there is a touch of rasp. I think I will weld in a vibrant resonator 17950 to eliminate the rasp. Thanks again! Also we are twins, I have GWM with full paint as well.

Awesome! Color matched fenders was a must have for me! There is a resonator in this downpipe but I don't think it does much lol
