Low gear pulls with my b9 Audi A4 stage 2 integrated engineering tune 93 octane crackle.Mods- CTS turbo cold air intake, CTS TURBO CHARGE PIPES, ECS TUNING HIGH FLOW CAT, ECS TUNING 3 inch down pipe

Thanks for making this video. I have a 2018 A4 BlackOptic, getting ECS Valved turboback, ECS intercooler + charge pipes, and ECS or CTS Intake, and then finally planning on going Stage 2 ECU and TCU from Unitronic. I noticed the Uni one has a crackle/overrun feature in dynamic mode, does the IE stage 2 have this or any other features the Uni doesn’t? Also, is IE planning to release a TCU stage 2 tune? You’re welcome. The ie does have the crackle tune,it’s what I’m currently running,I’m going with ecs valved exaust as well. I was told ie is doing the tcu stage 2 tune and that’s the only reason why I haven’t gotten the unitronic one yet

@@anthonymalta89 Very cool, let me know what you plan in installation-wise for the ECS valved exhaust. So a buddy of mine was telling me not to go for the crackle tune on either Uni or IE. Because basically what it is doing is flooding your motor with more fuel after you let off the gas, thus producing the crackles. They tell me it’s not good for reliability and longevity so I’m gonna avoid the crackles, also because another guy that has stage 2 IE says there is plenty of crackles without the dedicated crackle tune

@@texasbrotherhood3930 I ordered the exaust it was on back order but should be here this month and he is right the ie 93 tune without crackles still produce them just not as much

I have the IE stage one atm is the 0-60 difference noticeable between the two or did you just go straight stage two? Were there any problems running stage two without the intercooler?

I went straight to stage 2 and no I wasn’t having any issues

Currently on a stage 1+ ecu and stage 2 dsg from unitronic on my A4 b9. Dsg definitely makes a difference. Was contemplating on doing stage 2! What are your thoughts? You see a huge difference from stage 1? Just haven’t pulled the trigger on a down pipe and intercooler yet. What downpipe did you go with?

I can’t tell you the difference between stage 1 and stage 2 because I went straight to stage 2. I went with the ecs tuning high flow cat and ecs tuning 3 inch downpipe. I am thinking about doing the unitronic dsg tune but I was told ie is supposedly coming out with a dsg tune,but I would recommend the stage 2 100% completely different car

Curious how the A4 drives on say a Stage 1 tune without the dsg tune, are there any issues or should one do both tunes. I definitely expect even w a Stage 1 heatsoak will be the issue if one gets on it for extended periods. If one removes the IG tune is it still visible to Audi dealership if one experiences a mechanical warranty issue, potentially leading to decline of warranty coverage if failure is atributed to tune or dealer can see the car had the eprom rewritten. I am fully familiar w tuning as had Stage 1 EPL on my S4 and owned a heavily modified WRX stage 2 +

You got a lot of heat soak with the s4 if you didn’t do the pulley upgrades and things for cooling,haven’t really noticed to much heat soak with the stock intercooler,but I am upgrading to the ie intercooler soon,and I am going to get the dsg tuned soon,just waiting on ie to come out with it. As far as warranty goes just got my car back from a maintenance and they said the car is running flawlessly

Update on the dsg tune it’s well worth it,way higher rpm shifts available,launch at 4K compared to 2500 is a huge difference,cut off time in the 1/8th and 1/4 mile, also your stock tcu limits you at 155 and now I’ve hit 176 worth every cent in my opinion

Hey brother! I have a B8.5 A4, thinking of doing stage 2 this summer. Any big difference in turbo noises? cuz who doesn’t love them?

Do you need the high flow cat for stage 2? I’d like to go stage 2 with just my ecs tuning downpipe but am thinking I’d get a cel

No you don’t,I would recommend it though for more power gains,unless your going straight pipe,the cat is very restrictive

Do you have emissions testing in your state and if so does it pass w the high flow cats I wanna go stage 2 but I’m afraid I won’t pass odb2 emissions testing

With the high slow cat. Did it turn your engine light on? Mine will not go off

Yes it does but once you tune it will go off

@@anthonymalta89 what do you mean ? By tune. I went from stage one to stage 2 and still remains on. I think I’m going to take it in to IE and let them diagnose. It’s not crackling either. They are saying I need to do a muffler delete. I already have everything deleted but muffler at back of car. Still no crackle.

That’s weird then brother because as soon as I tuned my car with ie tune the check engine light went off and has never came back on again

I bought my tune from integrated engineering,great company. Simply plug your laptop and tune within 5 minutes

Pretty good,been on about 8k miles and running like a champ,just took it into service and they said everything looked great,follow the channel,I post quiete a few racing vids,cruise throughs at high speeds with windy roads

Fantastic. 17 A4 Quattro stage 2 since 30K with 100K miles now and still no issues

@@Worldofcarscape Glad to hear that. I have a 17 A4 Quattro as well but its bone stock. Sitting at 63k miles and going to start working on its performance so I'm glad to see it holding up at 100k. Have you had any issues with the turbo going?

@@Johnny-hd4zl I did stage 1 and blew a piston ring so it varries make sure you know that the vehicle was maintained and keep your oil clean

Stuck on Stage 1 from APR until a stage 2 tune can get pass emissions 🤦🏾‍♂️. Do you have to face this problem? Specifically with the downpipe

Fortunately for me I have people to get inspections but with the high flow cat I don’t think that is a issue,what state are you in

I haven’t dynoed it yet so don’t know exactly, but I have gotten my 0-60 on the 104 octane file to 3.9 on wet conditions but will post the dyno results in like 4 weeks when it gets dynoed. But I will say it’s a huge difference
