Hey mate, as far as I’m aware (I could be wrong) the biff bushes are different between some BA/BF models. I think the two forward facing bushes in the front of the cradle are the same however the rear one is where they can be different. Some have the bolt go straight through the centre of the bush and I think some (the earlier models) have the centre bolt hole offset so it would depend on what your set up is, as to exactly what bushes you would need for your car. As for the torque settings for the 4 large nuts and the two long bolts… 125nm is what is stated in the ford manual. Cheers. @brendan8322 Loose or buggered shocks can definitely make an annoying knocking noise. Definitely worth checking those out first

I’ve only seen people have done it online but never in person. Though seeing as though you’d have to drop the cradle down to get the sika in there properly, it’d probably be best just changing them out. That being said, if you don’t have tools to get the new ones in, it could be an option. Cheers for the feedback too mate. 🍻

Hey mate, yup just the one jack, it was a bigger workshop one which makes life easy but you can definitely do it with a normal size trolley jack too. One thing I’d suggest is once you remove the tailshaft, put a jack under the gearbox crossmember, undo the 4 bolts holding it to the body and then lower the jack. It will lower the back of the box down and also tilt the engine back a bit so you can easily access the top 3 bolts on the bell housing. Then you can jack the box back up and put a couple of crossmember bolts back enough to hold it up while to do all the rest. Also, for those three top bolts… all the extension bars definitely help!

From memory I’m pretty sure it was 60nm… not sure what that works out to in ft lb. Good luck with getting the snapped bolt out mate. Hopefully it comes out easily for ya
