BA Falcon No Heat Issue Fixed

My work ute is a 2004 Ford Falcon. I recently had the dash out to chase the same issue of no heat and discovered the usual suspect of broken control rod was actually not broken, and the flap was ok.
After having the module open and greased the internals, we put it back in, all clean and fresh with the new Aerpro ICC and it was great until it wasn't again.
A seemingly bad connection at the motor has been corrected and now I have heat control again. Ready for Winter.

Bugger me after 2 winters of freezing because I didn't want to pull dash out again. Seen this video went out gave that spot a whack and damn I got heat again. Mucho gracius buddy

Your worth a lot of money I had another problem of I had air flow but wouldn’t change to the demister and feet and now it’s works you saved me a lot of money and trouble

Mine worked for.about a week. So I probably need to replace the module, but it's really not worth the effort of pulling it back out. I won't be keeping this long term If it's a fix for you and stays fixed, that's a win! Thanks for the watch

My heater has always worked great, but got in it yesterday during a storm and no heat.. Well today just dropped the top clip on the glove box and gave it a hit as per old mates video and she is working again.. Thanks champion...

Just tried this and it worked. Couldn't see myself pulling the dash out. So it's a spring contact? Good work.

Yep, just a friction fit spade between two springy bits

Hi guys i bought a 2003 BA falcon futura wagon in mint condition problem is its was used as a Hearse for 17 to 18 yrs and hardly it hasnt had much use so got the blower working by adding a relay fuse in the engine compartment black box behind the battery so ran it for a while and couldn't switch it off so pulled the AC relay back out now back to square one.

@jamesmcroad7601 I wish I could help , if the fan works with external power, it could be the module has failed, or the wiring , or the ICC or any other number if things. Start with fuses, relays, and go from there ?

G'day mate, l recently discovered l have this problem as well in my BA, Heater blows fine but no heat ,it's always been an awesome heater up until this winter, it might be something like this hopefully

I had mine apart and established the rod wasn't the issue. So if you give this a tap, it will at least isolate one item off the list. Downside, still gotta pull the dash to replace the module unfortunately

@@klampykixxthis adds up to what might be causing no heat on a Bf. Never herd noises when moving controls and heater only worked slightly. It stopped putting out any heat at all and might be this so I'll try this shortly

I’m having a issue with my BA I have no fan , AC , Heater or demisters I’ve checked fuses and relays and they are all fine I’m stumped if anyone else has run into this problem

@dylantaylor9493 I wish I could be definitive, but it almost sounds like the module in my video has failed in your case. Somewhere in the network of the grey unit itself, or the cables running to it, or the module inside the ICC part perhaps? I'd start with the easiest bits first, being the ICC and check all plugs and earth's etc.
