Depends on the universities that allow you to do masters in psych without having bachelor degree in it.

Depends on the university, right? And every university has their own set of rules and regulations. So you have to find out on the university websites.

I have never studied Psychology in 11th and 12th, nor am I a student of psych honors. But now when I'm in BA in psych degree, I'm not finding any difficulty. So I guess you won't have any problem either.

As far as I know, that the admission criteria for bachelor degrees like BA is passing 12th STD. However, check with the university or colleges you're planning to apply for BA.

Will i be at any sort of disadvantage if I pursue B.A in psychology instead of B.A Honours in psychology? Should I worry for the same? Is there any difference at all? In curriculum or any other field?

I don't think it matters which bachelor degree you have. But honours degree gives you a push. You start focusing and learning about the subject from the get-go. So there isn't a disadvantage as such. But choosing honours definitely gives you an advantage.

Depends on the universities but as far as I know, it should be a degree IN Psychology. B.ED is not a psychology degree. It's a degree for teaching. If your plan is to teach Psychology, then its great. I don't think b.ed degree would work for if you want to get into a psychology field.

Hi Anand! Thank you so much for watching. 😃😃 There are some online courses in Coursera and Udemy. That can only extend your knowledge. Instead, you can read Psychology books. Or you can get a Psych degree from any distance learning institute like IDOL, Mumbai University or IGNOU. There are so many if you google it. :) I hope this helps you.

Make chits with Universities names in it that you're interested in. And then fold them n then mix them up and pick one. Ta Da!!!! That's the university you're going to!!😂😂 (I'm only kidding) Read about the Universities, go to their website. Read about it. And just pick one! Taking the first step matters.☺️

I am not pursuing BSc in psych nor do I know anyone. But whatever research I had done on BSC in psych, it seems that there isn't much difference in both. So I guess it wouldn't be difficult. But then, I don't have 1st hand experience in bsc psych.

Colleges in mumbai are affiliated with Mumbai University. So if the university doesn't offer a particular course, no college can.

I don’t know much about major and minors. The university I study from (mumbai university) doesn’t exactly have that system. But what little knowledge I have about this, if you want to pursue psych in the future, won’t you need to have that as your major?

BSc Psychology Hons student this side..it's a pretty famous course in Calcutta University and Christ University general subjects include zoology, physiology and other sc subject in Calcutta. Our first sem has statistics but we need stats in both ba and bsc. But more or less there isn't much difference I guess atleast for undergraduate. There's a major influence of biology but I feel it should be in both. About earning money bruh u can do anything u won't earn much until u have finished your studies. Mostly people who have had sc background choose bsc but mainly bcz they don't want to study history and pol sc as general subjects rather something that's related with what they have studied before. That's all.

doesnt matter what you choose in 11th and 12th, what you choose as a college degree matters. I can see you have many questions on clinical psychology. You'd have to talk to the universities and /or check their websites for what criteria they have for admitting students in their institutions. Every university is different and may have different criteria. I'm sorry I cannot research and remember about EACH and EVERY University in the country.

In my opinion, for MSc in a subject you need to have a BSc background, same as in BSc where u need to have an intermediate level passed in the BSc field only but psychology is one of the exceptions.. even if u r from arts or commerce background u can go for BSc psychology however, I don't think this exceptionality would go for MSc level.. hope that answers the question.

there is no surgery involved in psychology. BA is a first level to psychology. So, you need to know a lot about psychology before we can jump to therapy

I don't think there's any degree as BA in physiology. Secondly, physiology will be a part of biology which is science stream.

It's psychology. Only Amity in mumbai has msc in Psychology. And idk how Amity University is. Mumbai University doesn't offer MSC in Psychology.

As far as I have researched, Universities in india offer MSc in clinical psychology. But I didn't research enough as my university doesn't offer Psych in science stream. So if you google Universities that provide msc jn psychology n see which field of Psychology they offer, you'll come to know. ☺️

Nope. MU doesn't provide MA in Psychology. Not that I know of. IGNOU does provide, I think. Just check it out. I think for MA you have practicals and stuff (I'm still in BA so whatever I know is the research I've done on MA) so I'm not sure how any distance education program of a university is going to take practicals. So you should check with the university and research about their course before you take admission for it. That'll be my advice. ☺️

Some Universities allow you to do masters directly without a bachelor's. You have to do your research on that. However, I'll advise to get your foundation and strong which happens in bachelor's degree.
