For the first time don't agree with your video. Aqi has already halved from 2016, it used to be 800-900+ but now it's 400-500. With bs 6, 7 and EVs, aqi will come down to 200-300. So this temporary ban on diesel vehicles which is like 15-20 days out of 3 months of winter won't be happening in future. Infact govt will encourage ICE because of improving aqi and decrease in revenue from selling fuel

Regarding the practical longterm usage of strong Hybrid vehicles such as the Toyota Innova Hi-cross there are still two strong untried and non tested factors that we consumers must consider (1) these hybrids are powered by relatively new tech power trains - ICE & electric motor drive train combo which only highly qualified technically qualified personnel would be able to service and trouble shoot. No doubt Toyota as a brand has established a reputation of reliability. But what the cost of ownership of hybrids (cost of battery, ICU's that control electronics, etc.) Wiil turn out to be in terms of repairs, maintenance & replacement, is a factor that is yet to be established. (2) Hybrid vehicles, in all likelyhood, will be out of the scope of access to repairs by local garages for a long time to come on account of the new and sophisticated use of technology. So access to authorised service centers can become a constraining factor to the wide spread use of such vehicles. Only time will tell.

Even normal cars too complex to be repaired by normal service men. The electronics in Xuv/Safari are as complex as Hycross. Hybrid has been put by Toyota for 20+ years longer than actual cars by Tata/Mahindra.

Optimistic ask given the current Indian market but for me following are a must-have list for my next car: Strong build quality 5star rated Proper 5 seater Rear ac vents must Average at least 15kmpl Keyless entry Push start button High ground clearance atleast 200mm plus. Dashcam - very important to stay safe and prove innocence in case of road rage/accidents. Wireless android apple car play - i see even 2024 creta does not have this (correct me if im wrong) Fyi - dont like nexon looks personally (awaiting Tata curvv hoping it fulfils above list) I am ok being carless until each and every feature from above list is fulfilled because 15-20 lakh rupees for a middle class person means alot and getting full value out of it is what a customer deserves who spends their hard earned money.

No 5 stars yet but since Elevate is based on city platform so it will at least score 4 stars like city and as per Honda they have internally tested it as per new GNCAP protocols and had better results, but need to wait till actual NCAP testings are done. And dashcams can be easily retrofitted.

Don't blame the government .. the Supreme Court takes class of government on status of diesel vechiles banning every year.. and asks them to promote EVs or clearner fuel vechiles.. this situation arises when delhi becomes gas chamber every year and the judges seeing this pollution get angry on government.

Data is given to court by Govt agencies. Court takes decision based on this data. Cars are soft target for pollution. No One do such bans for Farmers and Transporter. I also heard that even if Cars are allowed for 10 years legally still Govt takes road tax for 15 years. Government doesn't want to address problems. They are happy to make money in Car sales.

@@justplay3500 the major player is overcrowded areas near delhi.. population vise it contains around 14 cr people highest in the world concentrated in delhi ncr uptill muzzafarnagar to biwani to alwar,.. even many european countries have half population then this number. And when so many people stay there pollution problem becomes multifold. From cracker burning to stubble burning to diesel vechiles around all contribute to gas chamber along with factories.

RRTS was under construction because of this problem.. then only one RRTS got implemented the other two got delayed and Delhi government didn't release funds.. well actually due to elections the AAP government decided not to fund and BJP was good at taking credit of entire RRTS projects.. although AAP also contributed to them.. same for delhi roads.. AAP govenment gave funds for Dwarka expressway but whole credit was taken by BJp and this political parties conflicts results in project delays.. in china this doesn't happen as there is only 1 government and it gets all the credit.

PUC certificates are joke. Pollution becomes severe in winters we all know reasons. Politicians will not do anything. And their supporters will defend them. As I said Government is happy in collecting taxes from cars but don't care about common citizens. Farmers will get Subsidy. Poor will get free food but tax paying citizens will not get anything except boasting about their favorite Politicians.

Wrong info. Car registered for 15yrs. Co has invested fortunes to upgrade to bs vi. Pls don't spread wrong info n scare people....I hv sold Delhi no Manza diesel on Bangalore after 14yrs. Its running freely. Delhi mein to sarkaar badmaash hai
