Hey Bhav & Sim, Mahabharat featuring Mohanlal is not directed by SS Rajamouli but it is based on a very popular malayalam novel on Mahabharat called "Randamoozham" ( zh is pronounced as 'la' in tamil/malayalam. This book is written by award winning malayalam writer Mr.Vasudevan Nair and will be directed by V A Shrikumar Menon. Mohanlal version of Mahabharat will be told from Bheema perspective. This version is budgeted at Rs.1000 and funded by UAE based business tycoon. Apparently SS Rajamouli wants to direct Mahabharat only after gaining more experience in another 10 years. But rest assured SS Rajamouli version will be massive in sync with time frame of 2025. My estimate is that SS Rajamouli's version will have a budget of 400 million USD for a 3 part version, since it will be shot only around 2025.

guys the movie u were talking about of mohanlal(lalettan) is Randamoozham..its going to be highest big budget movie with 1000 crore production.the movie is taken from a book named Randamoozham by a renounced author M T Vasudevan Nair.And as u guys were saying the movie is of bheema of mahabharatha.i am sure its gonna be a big bang and i even hope it will go for the Oscars because the book was such a masterpiece..with emotional drama and everything..combining with Lalettan's magical acting technique the movie will be a dhamaka..!
