In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Run History Plus, giving us more info in the Run Summary screen about the run: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Map Marks, for path highlighting - here, typically, Green means an easy, intended path, and Orange or Red means a harder path that I might take if I get good rewards: github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

37:10 That Snake Plant kill blew my mind. Never have I seen the most perfect sequence of draw power play out in front of me. I've never even considered how to use Grande Finale like how you pulled that off. It's so inspiring to this Spire Slayer who's been stuck on A20 for a few weeks

Never would have thought of Wrist Blade + Eviscerate as a combo!

Any strength works great with eviscerate. It's essentially 0 mana targeted boomerang with high base damage, if your deck can play it.

Heart slaying experience really on display here. Seemed an impossibly low amount of block but the 2 potions purchased made it happen.

Killing transient in 2 turns with a discard deck is pretty insane. Never seen that before

I firmly believe that discard is Silent's strongest build. The fact that it requires no setup powers to come online each fight, all of the most powerful enablers are 0 or 1 cost (calc gamble, acro, prepared) and you can cycle the entire deck very rapidly to consistently find the cards you need just makes it just absurd. I had a discard deck last night that also killed A20 Transient turn 3, found an apotheosis soon afterwards and went infinite on turn 1 in every fight after that. Killed awakened one in 2 turns, killed spear and shield turn 1. Monster build.

quite the skill displayed on this run. the power and dex potions on the heart were particularly well done. gg. Also, this was just fun to watch because it took careful attention to pull off the grand finales multiple times with the synergies involved. fun stuff.

I’ve watched 4 of Baalor’s +1hr long vids now and I’ve been impressed by how fleshed out his decks are by the end of Act 2. Then I realized that each one he’s gotten either question card or a prayer wheel in act one lmao still goated player tho, really knows how to push his advantages
