Hello Baba Dee, this is Malynda from UI. Elsie and I used to be good friends. I was sad to read about the passing of your younger brother, Sound Sultan passing. Please take heart, his death is such a great loss, so sorry. May his soul rest in peace, I pray God comfort you all. I have been listening to your conversation on Teju Babyface's show, and I am inspired by your strength and resilience. Sharing your stories and memories of Sound Sultan are a beautiful tribute to his legacy. May his spirit continue to guide and inspire you, and may your work continue to touch hearts and minds. Your conversation was so heartfelt, and I loved hearing about your journey and the stories behind your music. Thank you for sharing your talents and your heart with the world. Sending you love, support, and condolences again for your loss.🙏🏾🤍🤗

Sultan that wasn't close to me. Even though he knew me from a distance, agreed to do a song with me just like that! He met me at the studio on a Sunday and refused to take any money, drink or anything. Only thing he drank was water which he brought by himself. Very humble and simple guy.

Seasoned interview - personality, and conversation. Several words on marble was also shared by Baba Dee. I celebrate and honour Baba Dee and Sound Sultan’s contributions to Naija’s entertainment. Sound Sultan’s lyrics always spoke to the government and an average man’s experience of, and in Naija. Teju, I respect your consistency since Diamond ring and till date. It stands out as a class of its own. Honouring people comes to you naturally; from KSA interview, to how you are able to find people from our childhood entertainment memory and the interview questions an average person would be curious to know. Thank you! When you relocate abroad, your people and memories become most important part of one’s life. Thanks for helping us stay in touch with our legends❤

I don’t know you but i want you to know that it’ll get better. Be grateful for where you are now. Our journeys are different but i left Nigeria for Australia 8 years ago. It was not easy for the first 18 months, but now things are far better than i could have imagined - the people around me, people i was able to lift up and encourage, and as a by product the ability to travel anywhere in the world. Believe in yourself, be true to yourself, work hard, work smart, be good to people. Don’t compare yourself to others, your time will come. The material things i have now are just a by product! You are capable of a lot. Peace and health.

Baba Dee is simply on another level of maturity and a solid understanding of not just the industry but life itself! Everything is said about Sultan is true. I know Sultan and had the opportunity to work with him on a song and we toured together with 2face in 2008. Sultan was very disciplined and dedicated. And very funny and full of energy! Those days were so sweet. God bless Teju and Baba Dee for sharing.
