Baba is You music: A CYBER'S WORLD? by Toby Fox

Firstly, wow and thanks for the views and subs recently!
I recreated A CYBER'S WORLD - Toby Fox from the new Deltarune chapter in Baba is You. (using another note sequencing method instead of BELT is SHIFT)
When making this cover, replicating/working with the 16th note swing rhythm at the beginning was brutal; it had lots of issues to work around, due to just how deceptively complicated it was. Also, using a sequencing method instead of BELT is SHIFT was also a fun challenge, albeit some lag.

this format of music in BIY is far more fitting for me, here's an explanation on how it works: - Concept - Instead of BELT IS SHIFT, it uses [object] ON [another object] PLAY [note] Make sure the [instrument] that plays is MOVE, or else it won't play notes - Turns - You can use [instrument] on [turn object] is [left or right turn] - Teleports - Come on, this is straightforward. You can use it for instant loops - Instrument Changes - You may use [instrument] on [object] is [instrument 2] - TEXT IS NOT PUSH - This makes it so you have more space and can add music inside of the text objects. - TEXT IS HIDE - This is good for visual things.

Wow this is very cool!! It must've taken ages to make this. Love this style of music-making in Baba, with the Group On X Play Y with tons of rules to control the objects in Group's movement. Amazing stuff! (Nice editing of the multiple levels together too)

I am yet to see a level that uses the trumpet. I think its fine, I think it would be more veratile if the sound was a trumpet with a straight mute in it, because right now its a regular sound, that plays over anything.

Exactly! That was one of the main reasons why I resorted to a car and sax sound for the melody, the trumpet is just too loud and sustained.

@@Platto Ive wanted to ask to change the sound, but I felt bad already. I am the main person who wanted a trumpet, hoping that it would have its corresponding sound. I feel bad for asking for more from him, how it doesn’t sound perfect. Putting it in the game was enough, now me complaining it not being perfect.

Considering how many updates and fixes I see on Steam, I doubt he'd mind lol. The trumpet still works well in some specific songs tho.

Amusingly, if I run this level on Steam Deck, and just leave it open for a long time, it tends to gradually slow from like 47 FPS to around 6 FPS, then later on down to 3 FPS. What's happening to make it slow down like that? It doesn't seem to be a memory leak, but I haven't tried it on Windows to compare it.
