When they were doing their 50th anniversary tour the wife asked me "What are you doing on Saturday?" "Nothing" I replied. "Yes you are" she said "You're going to see The Who" I was blown away. We could only afford cheap seats so we were at the back really high up. When I took my seat I looked down and my heart started doing backflips. We went to the front desk and asked if they had anything a little lower. The girl on the desk smiled and said she could help. We ended up in the VIP section right next to the stage. Unbelievable. An incredible show. And when Roger was singing Bellboy, looking up and paying tribute to Keith on the large screen behind him, I was blown away. Tears flowed. My wife rocks. Almost as much as The Who.

Great history lesson @Chad Carr. Its cool learning more about the musicians I grew up listening to. Most of the music made today is simply garbage. Im 51 this year and it has saddened me many times to see some of the greatest musicians such as Peart and Eddie Van Halen passing both from Cancer. I became a drummer in my teens and also play brass instruments. I still play today because of Rush. This video was a suggested video and Im glad I got to see it. It was good to see Roger bellowing out the lyrics to one of my favorite songs of my youth. I mis my youth and the music back then but the show must go on......

Right now, at this very moment, you're somewhere in the crowd at the concert. Pete and Roger are there too. Scratch it off...you have arrived! My turn was in '83 or'82, Orlando. I was about three rows out of range of the Great Ketchup Fight. Some idiot got a cup of ketchup or mustard and threw it down into the lower seats. They sent return fire of all sorts. Someone...or several....grabbed the ketchup and mustard dispensers from the concessions stand. It was hilarious to those of us our of range. A couple of thousand people in a food fight. I still have the small tray from the Holiday Inn....the one with the drinking glasses wrapped in paper....I used it to clean my weed. Who else remembers cleaning their weed on a small tray or double album cover? I know, I shouldn't have taken it but, meh, it was just that sort of time in life. Had a GREAT girl.....smart enough to be very interesting, crazy enough to be dangerous...the crazy won out. Weed, 'ludes, coke....and still I can remember most of it! Ok....some of it. Alright, alright alright....a little bit of it.

Baba O'Riley blasting on the 8 track while I'm tooling down a gravel road in my 69 Camaro 396 SS going home to the trailer I lived in during part of college. Windows down, beautiful day, not a care in the world. Somehow, listening to this song, I knew that this one particular moment on that one particular day would be a watershed moment in my life that would stay with me forever. And each and every time I even hear the name of this song, I am transported back through time to that one particular moment. Hearing the song brings tears to my eyes.

Most hard rock bands would find it impossible to do this kind of show in their mid 50’s, let alone their mid 70’s. And to cap it all, they still look and sound so f*****g credible. Long live The Who.

I know I commented already in this video. But I still can’t get over it. Standing back in the rain. Singing along. And having my father stand up, put his arm around me, and together we sang Pete’s part. It was truly an amazing experience

I was in the first row on the hill. I had brought my army jacket with the Quadrophenia logo painted on the back. As soon as they took the field. The rain. The cold. It all went away. I enjoyed this concert so much and I hope to see them again

Qstick333 yes you could. My small group of five had brought chairs. But by the end I was standing. Three of them left and sat in the car before the last two of three songs. But me and my dad stayed. We packed up the chairs, tarp, and anything else we had. And then stood for Baba O’Reilly
