We dedicate our performance to those Sailors who are extending the hand of compassion and assistance around the world. Providing food, water, medical aid, and disaster relief, the U.S. Navy responds quickly to those in need.

This man has the most beautiful God given gift voice. I wish I had an album of him singing. His voice is so comforting easy on the ears. Would love to see him preform in person.

That is not African language. Africa is not a country. That is Swahili spoken in Kenya 🇰🇪 and Tanzania 🇹🇿 and the sweetest thing is that he is praying The Lord's prayer.

@@carolinekasiemeka9848 I speak Portuguese. It's an EUROPEAN language, even though Portugal is not an entire continent. I guess you can't interpret texts right...Swahili IS an african language. Is it from Asia? Is it from Americas? Is it from Europe? Is it from Oceania? So.....................

I’ve listened to this song over and over and never new why it made me tear up. I just love it. Then I find out what it is . ( Lord’s Prayer ) now I understand why it touches me so. I love the song.!

I know some of the Hospital ships come and go out of Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme and sometimes Point Mugu. I am a Ventura County Born Native. And when little I used to live near the Hueneme Port so I got to see the ships come and go. Both Navy and Commercial depending on the side of the Port whether it be commercial or Navy. In Emergencies Navy Always took Priority in coming and going. Plus if bad enough The base got priority over the commercial side to on rare occasions I remember a few cases they were transferring supplies from commercial ships to Navy so they could get out in a hurry.

Thikka -- There is another video of Bill Edwards singing Baba Yetu at the (2015?) Concert on the Avenue series and I like that version better, but I like HIM singing anything!

@@karenclutter1117 Oh, I love that video too. I've watched it dozens of times! 😊 But the camera pans away from him occasionally in that video too. I just love watching him sing as well as hearing him... He looks so happy when singing. 😍
