High quality, beautiful faces, perfect curves, multi-talented in music and dance, creative ambition, hard working, moral intelligence, inspirational and influential, the whole package. Yes, we wanted to be them, especially considering many of us girls were taking or had already taken tap, ballet, gymnastics, dance, aerobics and martial arts classes over summer breaks (form, precision, rhythm, flexibility, style, commitment). They are a part of our dancing spirit animals. It sure beat what the young people are doing today in developing a more rounded and grounded young lady, imo. I can’t imagine anyone actually wanting to be more like Minaj or Cyrus, but if so, we are failing our little girls miserably.

@ 1:55 Actually it was Michael who went on to say that he wished he'd thought of this first. She was the first pop artist to do "social/political" music when this was released in 1989, and then Michael started doing it in the early 90's.
