Texas Roadhouse is #1. The steaks are better, more options and better sides. The only downfall is I wish they would open for lunch time like at 11:00 instead of 4:00.

Ummmm. The narrator got the 2 restaurant headquarters switched... Longhorn is based out of Orlando, Fl as part of the Darden Group. Texas Roadhouse is out of Kentucky. Wonder what else you got wrong.

I have been lucky enough to regular go to both over the past 30 years. In fact, I have been to about 27 of their restaurants in 9 states. Texas Roadhouse edges out Longhorn. Both are definitely great, though.

Hate the mushy rolls at Texas Roadhouse. Dinner rolls are supposed to be crispy on the put side and spfton the inside and have a good yeasty taste., with plain good creamy butter. That’s the way they are at upscale restaurants.

Long horn steak house I give them a 9,1 and for juiciness I give them a 9.1, and for texture 8,9,Texas Roadhouse steak I will give them a 9.3 and for juices 8:8and 8.8 for texture.

It's interesting that Texas Roadhouse can use the word Texas in its name and it did not originate in Texas but Texas Pete hot sauce gets sued for using the word Texas in its name.

Used to eat at Texas Roadhouse since year 2000, not anymore. The standards have consistently fallen even before the Biological War in 2020. Main problem is untrained wait staff that are short timers, very short, the average one lasts about 3 weeks to a month, if at all. Most are underage and should not be serving alcoholic beverages to patrons. The kitchen staff varies in cooking skill, they are inconsistent from restaurant to restaurant, their skills range from average to poor, many times food was undercooked and had to be returned. A ways back, service was hampered by un-attentive servers who had time to line dance, while your order got cold waiting to be picked up. Only one out of thousand can actually serve with a little flair and may last long term, the rest could do better at McDonald's. Also the cuts of meat are grossly overpriced and not as good as they were 24 years ago. We get better priced and better tasting steak cuts at the area meat cutting store and grill them ourselves. Other noticeable and consistent changes that occur is the management and the owners of the restaurants who last less than 4 years.

You can drive your front wheel drive NISSAN Sentra in 4 ' like its a daily commute... Theres no difference between the two, just basic fast food steak places... not great, not bad... prefer to just cook my own!!!

I always ask for no grill marks on the steak at these chains. As all that is burned meat and the sign of a bad cook. I have never ate a meal in one of these places as they have never got one right. if they cannot get it right after the second try i get up and walk out.

I ate at Texas Roadhouse yesterday. I ordered a 11oz sirloin steak. It was way overcooked. Ordered it medium rare it was cooked well done. It was so dry and tough, I could of eat shoe leather easier. I ate about 4 bites and took the rest to my dog. Worst steak I have ever had!!!!! Will not be back.

I went to Texas Roadhouse near me ine time and that was too many times for me. I ordered a medium RARE steak. Two separate times they brought me a WELL DONE steak. This isnt rocket science. Just my experience
