As a mom myself there's nothing more beautiful then watching your baby take its first steps. My oldest son took his first steps at a friend of mines house I called up my mom and told her she now needed to buy baby gates it didn't register with her until 30min into our phone call my second son took his first steps while camping a week after his first bday and there baby sister took her first steps clear across the living room and plopped down on her a$$ and started emptying the end table she was a week shy of her first bday she surpassed both of her big brothers when it came to her milestones even though she was 7wks premature. When my oldest son left for school I got my younger kids ready and went to Walmart to buy more baby gates when my oldest son came he got annoyed and asked me "mommy why did you buy more baby gates?" And I explained to him why "because your baby sister developed her ability to walk when you and your brother were in bed fast asleep" his face lit up and he told his sister "walk to me Ren" and she did I had a total of 8 baby gates throughout the entire house I was also worried that she would develop the habit of climbing over her crib and babygates thankfully she didn't climb over anything or follow into anything her big brothers did. Like all years they fly by fast my boys are now 22 and 18 and there baby sister is turning 17 in 3mths

@@Just-Awesome you're not going to believe this but there's almost 16yrs age difference between me and my baby brother he was born 3wks before my sweet 16 I've ALWAYS considered him the best gift of all. We were always inseparable my "mom" (and I use the term loosely) had my brother at 36 fast forward to a month after my 21st birthday I knew I was preggo with my oldest son so when I went to pick up my boo from school and as we were walking home I asked him "boo how would you feel if sissy had a baby?" He said I'd be happy but I don't want it to be a boy" and I asked him why he said "because I don't want any competition" and I told him"well unfortunately for you my boo sissy doesn't get to pick and choose" I spent a lot more time together with my baby brother so he would know just because he'll be the first and only kid who's 5yrs old and in elementary school to be an uncle my feelings will never change so after I had my son if me and my son were going to do things (like the Easter egg hunt or seeing Santa) we'd always include my brother . Also He was the only one who accompanied me to all my prenatal appointments as a thank you I ALWAYS took him to subway or McDonald's. He also fell asleep on my belly and loved it when his nephew was kicking around inside me my oldest son was born May 17 2002 and my brother asked if he could show his nephew off for show and told him "yes but either "grandma " (another term I use loosely) has to go with you (I was in and out of the hospital the first 2wks of my son's life I had postpartum hemmoraging twice) I explained it to him why and since my "mom" can't leave the couch without it making a huge suction noise my kid sister took my oldest son to school then the school next door which was a special needs school my second kid brother wanted to show my son off as well
