Good day, everyone!
Pregnancy case processing is a topic that falls within the special situation reporting category of pharmacovigilance case processing. Because it's such a big term, I've opted to create videos in sections. This is PART 3 of the series which talks about the Baby, Fetus, Mother-baby and Mother fetus case processing in pharmacovigilance; the next part will be published on the channel soon.

You missed about premature baby case i.e., delivered before 38 weeks

Why not mother case for this scenario as mother exposed with drug while she is preganct?

Actually there is a catch...we are creating cases of maternal exposure voluntarily to check if there is any teratogenic property of the drug. The scenario in the video is like we already know the teratogenic side-effects of the drug on baby/fetus, hence no need to create a case for mother as per guidelines. However few clients may create a cases for rare drugs, that's their company conversion to be on safer side. Because over reporting is better than under reporting. Hope I answered your question.
