It’s so cute to see how curious the ponies are 😊, and those baby chicks!!! 🥰 Years ago, when we lived in Florida, we had to burry the chicken wire about a foot under the ground, and we reinforced the perimeter with cement tiles, to discourage coyotes and bobcats from getting to the girls. They did get to roam free in the garden during the day, because our dogs kept them safe.

It really is amazing to watch them, I also think it’s calming in a way. I’m happy I don’t really need to do those things, we don’t have bobcats and coyotes, only foxes and wolves. And locking them up at night is enough to keep them safe. We do need to watch the birds of prey though, but it really helps the chickens are right next to my cottage. Animals are scared to come close because of it. Thank you for leaving a comment ♥️
