Gods I just realised that when Ally says "voicemail from his grandma" considering that he's made from Fig's blood, that would be a voicemail from Sandra Lynn, to Wretchrot. I cannot imagine that Sandra Lynn would ever even register Wretchrot's existence unless Fig directly asked her to.

Difference between carbonation and boiling water, is that carbonation bubbles break up even more when they hit your tongue. Thi, delivers a cool refreshing miuth feel. Boiling water will coat itself around the cooler surface, the tongue, and then fully cook your mouth meat!

2:26 I mean, Brennan has described the nation of Solace (or more specifically Elmville) as a sort of John Hughes-esque 1980s suburbia, very anachronistic with the classical high fantasy setting of most of the rest of Spyre, so it could very well be 1982 (and they apparently have their own version of the Georgian calendar)

@@AlyxDG I mean, that's how the world was described. And it's fiction, so who cares? They can do whatever they want, 1982 could be just a number. Besides, a lot of the base 80s aesthetics are there in the background of everything, probably a bit less now since Fantasy High S1, but still there. Also, of course, I'm not taking Emily's words as 100% fact, I was proposing a hypothetical.
