@joshuaedwards1366 yeah most of them if they’re well-socialized grow out of it as adults, I’ve also got my girl (almost 3 years old) in a 4x2x2, the only time I see her ball up anymore is when she’s trying to fit in her tiny baby hide. She has plenty of hides that actually fit her but for whatever reason she picks that one every once in a while to squeeze herself into lol.

Bananas tend to change colors and dull as they age but pastels often stay bright, so this SHOULD stay a super bright yellow baby! pastels often make the bananas not have as many freckles, too.

Seconded! Plus a lot of LGBT+ charities do big fundraisers in June, and I try to prioritize that when I can. And it’s just too expensive to buy all the cool pride shirts in the same month, sometimes I have more income in the fall months but companies stopped selling them by then. But I’m gay all year round! 😂

There are many other comments from people being upset that they have it at all. It’s disappointing to see in this community.

Personally I'd recommend cornsnakes. From what I've heard and experienced with my corn they do well with regular handling, which some balls and many hogs don't resulting in them going off their food. As a first time snake owner most people want to handle their snakes often so that is a big factor. There are also countless corns up for adoption

For me, after being a faithful viewer for years, this channel has run its course. The mass breeding of hog noses, the commercialism, and now breeding ball pythons. The recent direction of the channel, in general. I whave lost interest, I am sad to say. I am actually unsubscribing, but I will check in once in a while. To see if there are new rescues! Take care.

@@chuckthebrindlepittie6820 The hognoses don't bother me. They're adopted instantly and you don't see them in rescue, especially in fancy morphs. Good breeding is a good goal. They also rescue consistently and you can see them putting constant effort in. Polite disagreement noted, ball pythons seem to be one of the top surrendered species, especially normals. It's hard for me to watch more normal babies be bred for the sake of a few bananas. :/

@@llars1559 You have made good points here! Worth addressing. Frankly, I dislike mass breeding, in general, so I am biased and start thinking about it being a money-grab. Also, I have drifted away from Snake Discovery because of their recent commercialism. My hope is that hog noses won't end up glutting the market at some point. I concede that they take less room, etc than ball pythons, and that is a good thing for them, as long-term pets! Also, like you, I have long admired the "Rescue Island" work they do! So rare among breeders. I will definitely check back in the channel to see what's happening. I am probably overreacting, and I apologize for it. But, after seeing Barczyk's nightmarish snake mill, the adult breeders living in dismal circumstances, cranking them out by the thousands, year after year -- I am very, very guarded about producing ball pythons.

@@llars1559agree. I believe they said they weren’t going to breed ball pythons anymore because of this reason & because there just aren’t enough people wanting ball pythons.. also why they’re cutting back on bull snakes.. which is why this video confused me lol.

My understanding is that this is their only clutch of Ball pythons for the year and they acquired at least one if not both parents as surrenders.
