Watch Kemosabe's Tree Fort. (Kemosabe also makes an adorable sound, almost continuously!) And watch the baby porcupine video, too. Both are Animal Wonders Montana vids. Having said that, I love Beavers & Huckleberry is super cute.

OMG, he is _adorable!_ I'm sorry to hear about his neurological deficits, though. I hope he'll be able to swim and dive without being helped or watched, I'd expect that he'd be happier that way.

Beavers have an obession with the sound of flowing water, which drives them to pile wood to clog up dams, I wonder if that needs to be trained or is instinctual.

I don't know if it's learnt or not, but it is vital to their survival. They aren't just pilling up wood, they're actually making a nest inside the damn

@@Albinojackrussel It's not only for nesting, but they will also damm a stream at different point. I heard(for what is worth) they hate the sound of flowing brooks.

Yes, his name is Cuteball with Teeth, son of Furrball of Woodlands.. Grandson of Toother The Elder. ❤️ I love how she says "hi dude" and the squeeks he gives in response.. He deffinitely likes her.

Hackleberry is the perfect name! Love those cute beaver toes and fluffy little face, aww! Can't get over how big he is growing and his progress in the new enclosure, exploring and moving around, even with his special health issues. He is such a darling! Cute baby noises just slay me. so glad that he ended up at Animal Wonders where the best environment and care is :D

when he gets big enough, a cattle trough might be ideal for a swimming pool of sorts. they come in various sizes, and shapes. when we were little, a three foot tall, large rounded one was our pool for many years, and it rested on the ground, so something like that could be altered to fit his needs as he grows.

He's so lucky to have you! And I can't get enough of those noises he makes. My cat seemed veeery interested in those sounds as well. I'm hoping this means he will enjoy baby beavers like he enjoys watching baby elephants and whales (especially blue whales), and not in the way he's interested in squirrels and chipmunks. ;)

I have three cavy babies (guinea pigs), and while I know beavers aren't cavies, I see so many similar behaviors and it's killing me!! One of them is also special needs - we suspected neuro until she improved after her rescue and foster, and now it seems just ortho. Huck really reminds me of Gwen! So funny and adorable!
