Badfinger was one of my favorite bands back in the day, it was terrible to see what happened to such a great band. So much talent and such a heartbreaking and tragic end.

Agreed. Baby Blue and Day After Day, along with others. The other that I would always look forward to on the radio is Skylarks (with the prolific David Foster) ‘Wildflower’ which you can be assured will regain some popularity as soon as it’s put on a show or movie.

I'm surprised this has so little views, it's very well played, without any mistakes, and the video quality is awesome, so you can easily tell what's being played and thus making it a perfect reference for people that wants to learn how to play it. Very nice job man.

Interesting playing the F# at that position. The voicing sounds about the same as playing it at the fourth fret. Really nice and spot on playing!

Thanks for the message, prepare to be underwhelmed! I wish I could describe a more impressive rig for this but it's a Fender/Roland CG-1 with a DiMarzio Area 61 in the bridge, going into a dinky Marshall MG10. If I used a boost on the solo it was probably a PlimSoul. Cheers!

Well I learned to play this song on the fourth fret with a capo and it sounds perfect also. But this guy is fantastic and who needs a capo right? Well done lad it sounds just like the record

You need a capo for the two acoustic parts as otherwise it contains lots of finger gymnastics and you can’t get the sustain you want on some chords

I saw Rick Beato (a man I respect) play this capo'd on 4 as he was convinced he was hearing open strings being played on the walk-down. There's also a version capo'd on 2. But I'm convinced this version is best and true. Sounds marvelous.
