Baptism is when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour and believe that He died on the cross to save your soul. A baby isn't saved from going to Hell Fire because you baptism them.

My guess is the mother went to church a lot when she was pregnant, so the baby is probably familiar with the priest's voice from when the mum was pregnant. This is why they tell parents to talk to babies while they are still pregnant with them coz they will recognize the voice when they are born.

There's something special about everyone pledging to raise that child up in the church and in the faith. It's such a precious and holy time. Don't ever take it lightly if you've been asked to be a Godparent. That's almost a calling and you will answer for that child's spiritual upbringing someday. ❤

Baptism is when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour and believe that He died on the cross to save your soul. A baby isn't saved from going to Hell Fire because you baptism them.

I'm not saying that this is what's going on here but let's not put limits on God's power either. Babies have souls too and "nothing is impossible for God".

This baby is just interacting with the Priest. Completely normal and absolutely adorable! Looked like grandma was stressing over the baby a little bit, well a lot, lol, and It was cute the way the mom would hurry and turn her baby away from the Priest but, it’s okay to allow your babies to interact. It’s a good sign that they are on their way to having good emotional and social skills! Don’t most babies cry during a baptism? I would think it’s much better if they’re smiling and laughing, plus the Priest didn’t seem to mind. Enjoy these precious moments bc soon they will turn into just memories!❤️🩹🥰♥️🥰❤️🩹

And one times one woman, neighbor came to us the first time in my home, I was smiling her and say to her Mi Mi😂 I was 1 year old. But I didn't remember it moment, my mother told me about it).
