Yes!!! I think they do. I rescued a duck...now the other duck people bring their babies to me too. I think they think I'm a duck.

This is an absolutely amazing and uplifting video from start to finish. I never saw a human opening up an egg so a duckling could live. From learning how to eat to scampering in the sand near full-grown horses and dogs. And then Bleeper became a mom to a whole family of Bleeplets. How miraculous!!! Thank you Emma for being such an astonishing caretaker.

I've experienced a WONDERFUL pair of geese, raised since ducklings, being every bit as FUN! and endearing as a couple of puppies. I never knew that they could be such good company. Excellent watch dogs as well. Never a dull moment with that pair :))

I once saved an abandoned kitten who was both cold and hungry. Brought her home, took care of it for a half day. The next morning she was dead. I was 16. So in my way to school, I was meant to drop it next to a dumpster. Half way through the stairs down our building, in a dark floor, I started sobbing.
