I think what you do with them is wrong. Hedgehogs are not pets, they are wild animals, and you should let them grow up as one; even if you are providing shelter to them. The babies should not be touched by humans.

Please do not keep hedgehogs as pets. It is very bad for them. They are not toys. Just because you find them cute does not give you the right to keep them in captivity. Support local wildlife. Don’t use animals for your own pleasure.
