Watched Lacey & Eli’s vlog and got emosh but this one got me even harder. I became a grandma to a beautiful baby girl just over 6 months ago & Shelley I felt your emotions for you ….. I felt Lacey’s too and still remember that feeling of cradling my own newborn babies but there’s no love quite like holding your own precious baby’s baby and becoming a grandma. I know you have other grandchildren too but being there and that very first hold is so special. Congrats to you all. I’m thrilled and delighted for all of you, little miss Lopez is truly blessed to be surrounded by so much love & she is also one of God’s greatest blessings he bestows upon us. Congratulations Crazy Middles!! I got really emotional when Shelly got choked up talking about Eli. I can tell that Kylie’s, Destiny’s spouses and Lacey’s partner are all very kind and caring just like Jared. They know how to pick their spouses because there is a great father figure they have as an example to look for in choosing their husbands and partners. The way Eli and Lacy look at each other, you just know. When we first met him I wasnt sure about him. I saw how lacy looked at him. And then I saw how he looked at her, and I knew. One thing I've noticed is when he looks at her, he typically smiles. Even if they're just walking around and shes talking about something irrelevant. He looks at her with so much admiration and its adorable.

I always ball my eyes out when baby is pulled out and set on mommy. This video was no exception. Reminds me of when i had my little ones. That joy is just immesurable. Congrats!

I was absolutely terrified but damned determined. He was born 3 weeks after my 19th birthday, at 41 weeks and 6 days. That was 20 years ago. I'm not even 40 and my baby boy is a man. I knew this day would come but had no idea how fast. Lacey and Eli, love her, cherish every moment, even the hardest most sleep deprived moments. And when you think that it's all too much and you just might break, remember these words.... The Days (and Nights) Are Long But The Years Are (oh so,so, so) Short.
