My wheelchair broke a few years ago so I've been stuck at home since. Often my view of the world beyond my windows is via the news/media or when I go to the hospital, the picture is pretty miserable. Until I found your channel & lovely family I had got lost in this grey world. I had forgotten about the beautiful world beyond & the wonderful people in it. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, you always bring a smile to my face & heart. You create the most amazing videos all round! ☺️❤️ How incredible for Cali to learn to walk amongst penguins!!! Priceless memories! 🐧 Looking forward to seeing where you end up next week! 🌎

Many tears/wet eyes at this video seeing Cali learning/starting to walk properly, even though I don’t know you guys, it feels like I have seen Cali grow up bit by bit, and to see him walk made me quite emotional 😭

Sometimes it's nice to be disconnected from all these technologies and just be with family and nature....From California.

We were on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1984 camping at Namakani Paio campground in Volcanoes Nat. Park. There is a big fireplace that is never allowed to go out and it had a bunch of couches around it, where folks staying at the hotel and campground could mingle at night. We met a family who lived in Waimea and he was an astronomer on Mauna Kea. We hit it off and they told us that they were on the Falkland Islands for 2 years. She raised sheep, sheared them and dyed their wool and she made sweaters. I have one, but it is too warm in California to wear it. He did some kind of astronomy there until the Falklands war. When they finally moved back to England where they live in a thatched roof house, they had to rethatch their roof which is a big job for a special artisan thatcher. Traveling is so amazing and the people you meet you never forget. Thank you for taking us out of our quarantine isolation and all over the world.

I have been to the Falkland Islands and also visited Saunders Island. It’s truly one of the most magical experiences of my life and I was 32 when I went. Your children are truly blessed to have the magic of that place in their childhood.
