I didn’t get a few items either, but I bought a demonstrator model from Moore’s for a good price as well as that little brief case with 29 feet and attachments in it. I also bought the full coverage for maintenance, repair, & parts till 2030 (it’s renewable coverage, too). The deal was good even though a few of the goodies were missing. Later on I gradually bought the thread nets, spool bases, spool caps, tweezers and wire thingy that usually come with the brand-new Triumph. I’ve learned lots from the books that came with the Triumph and KZfaq videos; plus I attended a free coverstitch class at Moore’s-I am less mystified now. Sometimes I go through the instructions and use leftover fabric to try different techniques. That helps me a lot. 😇

Absolutely. You can use materials like denim, leather, and vinyl with standard serged edges, and you can even use the bias attachment for the Triumph. Of course, quite thick materials may limit the effectiveness.

Does it form a stitch ok for a standard stitch? Are the needles fully inserted? Are all settings proper? If doing a 2 thread, is the subsidiary looper disengaged or covered? If a stitch doesn’t form on reg stitch, it may be out of time and need a service.
