don't worry, many MOA are still incredibly confused as to what the TXT storyline is! I wouldn't really call them different creatures, but they each have unique physical differences that come with their own abilities! yeonjun has his horns (but at a price), soobin has pointed ears (he hears things that the others don't), taehyun has a magical eye (he can see things that the others can't), huening kai has his wings (he's just a literal angel), and beomgyu has thorns on his back (for protection)! you'll start to understand it a little more as you continue to watch and check out their concept photos/teasers, but trust me when I say that most of us MOA still don't understand the storyline completely (and I think that's intentional, bighit keeps us coming back for more)! also let me geek out a little because I love video games and the fact that txt has a VR concept where they each get their own video game character is absolutely amazing to me! I love it so much :D it kinda gives an idea about the storyline too, yeonjun's a paladin (protects the others but gets cursed by evil), soobin is an archer (stays back and does things from afar), beomgyu's a healer/druid (protects the others in a different way than yeonjun), taehyun is a sorcerer (he's the smartie who seems to know the most about the magic world), and huening kai is a bard (keeps everyone happy and harmonious) !!

Not sure if this helps or not, but this is how I like to explain the story...because it's VERY complex. The story is **threefold**: 1. There is a storyline about them being Magical Idols. 2. However the storyline is also telling the story of childhood development. 3. Simultaneously it tells their real life story of growth as people and idols. **✨✨✨ Magic Idol Storyline: ✨✨✨** There was some event that caused magic to come to the regular world and this messed all kinds of things up. This has something to do with the promise they made as kids at the Starlight Festival but they have forgotten their promise and lost some of their memories on this. It also is likely due in part to the characters they created in their Dungeons and Dragons game. So each of their characters has a true name/race and lore and abilities of their own. There are two sides fighting over them and trying to control their actions and a Dragon that will come on Doom's Day and presumably end the world. One side wants the "end" because they want to create a utopia for only magic users and the other side wants the Dragon killed. The boys don't really want to be swayed by either side and they just want to be able to be idols and protect their fans. The cat is not from their universe and is presumably trying to get back. The cat steals peoples emotions to gain power (presumably in order to accomplish something like getting home but idk) and the boys make a pact with the cat in situations when they don't really see any other choice (brink of death, backed into a corner, etc.). The cat simply speeds up something that would've happened naturally (them getting their powers), but this comes at dire consequences. In essence, the boys are all trying to do their best to protect each other, MOA, and their dreams, but ultimately without communicating well with each other and working together, they keep failing and hitting the "bad ending". P.S. This cat appears across other HYBE artists' content as well. **👶 🧒 Childhood Development (psychology): 👦 👶 ** As far as childhood development goes, you can see the progression in their discography. We start with really cute innocent songs about early puberty (crown) and love (cat & dog) and youth (our summer). Then, they start to grow (20cm) and they start to find themselves more confused with what is happening to themselves and unsure of how to act (angel or devil), so they want to run away from the pain and sadness that comes with growth (Run Away). After that, they start to come into conflicts with each other and are unable to understand one another as they don't know how to communicate (CYSM). Their escapism from reality peaks (Blue Hour) and they want to avoid all their problems. This continues through their discography into the teenage years (Freeze, M2, etc.) as they come into contact with darker and harsher realities of life, love, and heartbreak including financial responsibility (LOSER=LOVER, Trust Fund Baby, etc.). Now with the name chapter, they are finally facing their reality and trying to question who they really are as people, idols, and young adults. In other words, they are ready to grow and ready to find themselves! **🧍🕺 As real people and idols: 🕺 🧍 ** They usually discuss these themes in interviews or Weverse magazine articles, but basically their discography walks us through their growth. For example, Eternity album discusses a lot about not understanding each other and lacking communication, which is something they struggled with early on. PUMA tells about their debut and the simultaneous exhilaration and fear that they felt coming out into the world and opening themselves up to criticism. We Lost the Summer deals with their feelings on Covid as they struggled to connect with fans and dealt with the disappointment of their concerts and tours being canceled and their plans being put on hold. At the same time we have the story of boys growing into men, the members themselves are also growing and dealing with these things. Tinnitus discusses pressures to live up to expectations set by fans and their own expectations for themselves too.

Okay so Nap of a Star is basically a beginning to their storyline, if you noticed there were sentences on the screen in korean which werent translated (bighit istg) but whenever you decide to get into the storyline definitely watch the one with subs of the text on screen as well If you’re interested in their storyline there’s an hour long video by txt vids which has all the videos based on the star seekers in order so you can directly react to that if you want (it has timestamps in the description so you’ll know what you’re watching haha)
