Margot would suit you so well! Love a good baby names video 👌 I laughed at the question about the four children with the same first letter, it is actually me and my brothers 😂My mom was a baby name freak and she wanted every kid to have the same initials as our grandpa (Georges), and each name would be shorter of one letter, so she named us Guillaume, Geoffrey, Gautier, three very classical boy names in France, and me, Gyslie - which doesn't exist really haha, it is very unique and kinda weird, but I got used to it 🤭

I’ve always been obsessed with names as well! I definitely love the more unusual ones too, it probably stems from having a strange name myself😂 My boyfriend and I always refer to our non existent future child as Otto so that’s definitely one of my faves but I love all the names you mentioned!

Not a mom or expecting but I obsess over baby names from their origin to their meanings. I totally relate to having a shorter list or struggling with boy names compared to girl names. For some reason. What I like tends to change a bit because I go back and forth between preferring unique names and classic names. I worry unique names will get my future child picked on and worry classic names will be too common. It's irksome to me if I know someone who knows someone else who has the same name as I picked 😅 I used to hate my real name but now not so much especially after learning all the meanings and places it's used. My sister hates the MEANING of her name Julie, 'downy-bearded youth' - not a very appealing girl name to the one it's given to if you look at the meaning alone.

Love that video! My absolute favourite male name is Richard with the nickname Ric. My favourite female name is Stella. Another name I really love is Alexis and I think it is gender neutral or Alexander for more masculine notes. I love Alex as a nickname for both Alexis and Alexander. About twin naming: boy & boy: Richard and Alexander girl & girl: Aurora and Freya or Hope and Faith boy & girl: Richard and Stella My least favourite names are Michael and Pamela

Oddly enough. I didn’t read your name yet and I thought your name would start with an “M”. Ha! I also love the name Monica and would rename you that. I think people don’t use the name because of the show “Friends” but I love that show. Like you said, it’s a slept on name. Also Lavender 💜😭 my mom hates it but its super cute!

I’m 21 weeks pregnant. I had a HUGE list of names before getting pregnant and it like the minute it became real I decide I hated ALL of them and we went back to square 1 lol. Violet is nice! I’m not sure about angus. Makes me think of McDonalds lol.

same! i'm 26 weeks, it's such a big responsibility and when i share my name ideas with people i get negative reactions (despite my names are in top 100) and people like to say 'don't name your baby these names' (then goes to list normal names) so i can't tell anyone until the baby is born.. plus there's less name options for boys so you have to be creative! I didn't think it would be THIS stressful!! I'm also surprised "Noah" is number 1 in the UK this year! I think "Angus" is more common for Scottish culture as it's an old Scottish Gaelic name, so burger king got the name from that, same as "Ronald" was used by McDonald's, but it was a name before.

I'm having a similar problem with my husband. I adore the name Aria, but he says if we use it then it has to be Arya after Arya Stark from Game of Thrones. It changes the pronounciation, and I absolutely despise the show. I refused...what annoys me is he refuses to let me use Melody either, which is my all-time favourite baby girl name!
