I appreciate you being honest about being “bored” while playing with the kids. I work from home full time with my toddler right now because of the pandemic and I try my best to spend weekends just playing with her but I often feel the same and always feel guilty about feeling that way. Nice to know I’m not alone.

Kayla I love your content and all my kids are grown. I think you are a great momma and so interactive with your children. I love that you show others how to actually play with the toys your kids get. So many mommas get caught up in the house and what needs to be done that they don’t spend that quality time with their children like you do. Don’t change for people, do what you do!!! I just want to say that I LOVE your vlogs and never find them boring! I love the podcast style too because a lot of the time I watch your videos while I’m working with my headphones in. My 2 yr old places independently almost the whole day. She’ll come over to me and show me her toys but for the most part she likes to play on her own. The only things we do together are coloring, reading, or puzzles. Sometimes I’ll feel bad and try to go play with her but she doesn’t even want me to lol she would rather play alone or bring her toys next to our dog and play with her.

I really love how honest you are about your lifestyle. Theres so much pressure from society of being this "do it all mom" going all over the place with your kids and some people are just not that way (like me). I'm a homebody and trying to figure out activities to do at home is still fun and free hahaha:) you are so relatable

Seriously rarely do I ever comment on KZfaq videos, but this video speaks to me so hard. Especially the part where you said that you get bored. I feel that almost everyday I play with my 14 month old son and feel so guilty for feeling that way. I don’t feel that way ALL day, but definitely almost everyday. And I feel like that is why I’m constantly on Amazon trying to find toys and things to entertain him. Thank you for saying the things that we moms feel ashamed to say out loud. Loved this so much!

In all honesty I absolutely love you vlogs where you stay home all day! I think I enjoy them so much because I find them very relatable as I am home with my 1 year old all the time so I feel like we are living a very similar life, so I really enjoy seeing how you spend your days at home. I know you do a good job of not letting rude comments get to you...but just know that probably 99% of us love everything you create regardless of where you are or what you're doing :)

I cannot tell you how perfect the timing of this video is. Being a ftm during covid, not going anywhere but the pediatricians office and not spending time with people has been very tough. Your videos are always entertaining to me, as a mom of 2 on maternity leave. Our lives are very similar right now, so I totally get it! And yes, with the pandemic some days I'm bored out of my mind and cannot wait to be able to see other people, even though I love my kids so much! And yes, my 2 year old son is always wanting to play with me when I'm trying to cook dinner or when I'm feeding his 7 month old brother.

I get something out of every single blog that you’ve out out. Even those that may not be as “entertaining” (though they are to me), and I think we all appreciate how consistent you are with posting a minimum of 3 videos a week which many other youtubers don’t do! Omg thank you for saying it out loud, I felt so bad thinking playing with my 10mo was so boring sometimes. Especially when half that time he’s just scooting toward me and screaming MAMA. I always appreciate your honesty. It’s important for us moms to remember that we are in different stages and eventually things will change. I’m in the stage of mom guilt because I work from home and can’t play with my son much during the day. I’m happy he’s independent but am getting worried that he’s not learning new things because I can’t sit down to practice and expose him to different activities while I work. I’m gonna try and make it up on the weekends. Thinking about getting a Lovevery play kit too.

Joe did a good job cutting Jackson’s hair! Also Riley’s messy bun is a mood 😂 Also, my 2 kids are 16 months apart (almost 3 year old and a 1 year old) and they are the best of friends! When my daughter first turned 1, it was still a little rough. She just wanted to destroy what my son was playing with. Now she’s at the age where she actually plays and pretend plays & watching my kids play together is the sweetest.

Yes! No pressure to change your lifestyle. This is not a reality show, where everything is super fake and extra hyped up. No need to create drama and staged situations. Your channel is already super great. You cannot satisfy every kind of audience.

I love your videos ! I also watch different youtubers for different reasons. And some youtubers I watch are out and about doing things all the time or going on vacations and stuff and that stuff is cool lol but I personally am also very much a homebody so I really enjoy watching people who are more like me ??? And have more vlogs that I can relate to so I love your videos. Keep them coming ! Lol

This was a much needed video. The part that you shared of the book you’re reading spoke to me and I needed it so much because I can 1000% relate on feeling bored although I am doing everyday house shores and taking care of my daughter who’s about to turn one. I look forward to your vlogs and videos and I love that it’s so raw and yes you may be home a lot but so am I, especially during these crazy times.
