Baby Seal Covered In A Net

Imagine this seal trying to swim and get some food. The net covers the entire seal's body, including its flippers, making it difficult for it to move in the water. Eventually, this baby seal would have died of either starvation or drowning. No animal/person wants to be restricted in such a manner. Who caused this situation? The fishing industry is entirely responsible for this, and nothing is being done to punish those responsible. We must put more effort into stopping the problem instead of just dealing with the symptoms.

~ 🤍You need to target the schools, villages, or churches on this matter. Educate them as well as you are doing here on this platform. If you get to the people you get to the issue at hand. Remember to always cut the plastic on the soda holders as well. Peace out ~

Arcenciel: Naude being able to build the non-profit strongly enough to pay his staff adequately is also a primary achievement. Major forces behind that success have included 600+ saves a year fot 3 years, more than just daily videos communicating with the worldwide public, and heeding the concerns the public have for wildlife preservation.

That bull with the cut/pop was a relief! The poor pup got into a huge mess, but the team took it's time and removed that weird old school netting. Great job as always OCN!

Although it's harder on the OCN crew, I absolutely love to see these seals fighting as hard as possible. That net...it's a miracle (or so we view our OCN heroes) that this seal now has a chance to grow and live long and prosper!

That seal was determined not to go into your net, well done for capturing him in the end and removing that plastic band! The other seal, covered by that horrible net, poor wee thing, thank goodness you got to him, guys. He must have felt so much better heading back to the sea without that awful net covering him! You all do such an amazing job, guys, freeing these beautiful creatures from all that garbage that's in the sea, well done indeed. 👍👍

The 2nd one was really entangled, great job Jason getting stuck in there and getting the line cut. First one was a big boy who had no intention of been caught but Denzil got him in the end, nice job to all on the team.

Huge amount of net on such a small frame. Must have been hurtful and a literal drag on the pup on land and in the water. Glad the big one can now continue his bull in the making journey. Two great rescues. Thank you OCN!

These seals are so precious! Thank you for caring. Few enough people do that. We recently had the privilege to swim with a young one. He even followed us out of the water. And just when I was thinking that I don't know what my muttbunch at home would say to the new "dog", he looked at us, turned around and "rolled" back into the ocean ❤

Today is the worst day of my life. I lost my beloved cat and he passed away. I will never see him again. But I see him in all the cute animals. I feel bad.
