Elvis was underrated as a guitarist but truly had a voice like no other and that was his true gift from God.

This is a great example of it's not how you rock...it's how you roll!

Elvis: One Night With You is a whole set of these gems. Not all were in the ‘68 special. Whenever people question the big deal about Elvis I break that video out. Lawdy Miss Clawdy is tremendous

Trying to get to you was my favorite from that special. It was interesting how many song he did in that set that revolved around the E, A, B7 blues riffs.

The '68 Special is my absolute favorite Elvis performance. It's fun to watch with him just goofing around with his buddies, the audience and the lyrics too.

Great vid -- to the point without being too brisk. Great song too. It's a fantastic example of Elvis getting into the zone and improvising. Really shows how precision isn't always everything, as long as you have feeling.

Great - finally the Elvis version - very correct and warm

Elvis never claimed to be a great guitarist.. But a lot of guys picked up the ax because of the 68 come back special. Johnny Cash said Elvis was one of the best rhythm guitar players he ever heard.
