ALF follows the adventures of Gordon Shumway, a furry, wise-cracking alien from the planet Melmac who crash lands into the garage of the Tanner family. The Tanners offer him a home and give him the nickname ALF, short for “Alien Life Form.” Created by Tom Patchett (The Carol Burnett Show) and Paul Fusco (who also performed as ALF), the half-hour sitcom rose to popularity in the late 1980s, cementing itself in the pop culture zeitgeist.

It’s fun, right? We’ve still got two plush ALFs, couple of different t-shirts, a set of bed sheets, some stationery and the entire uncut series on dvd. (No, we’re not obsessive. 😂 Just fans who’ll always enjoy the show.) It’s a keeper.

Once read that if one is racing a car. That they should start slowly breaking more than a mile away... So this was realistic that Alf totalled the car. Since he started breaking immediately. He's lucky he's so fuzzy. It cushioned him from getting hurt.

One interesting aside, although jewellers charge more for platinum than gold; on the commodities market, gold is generally three times the price of platinum...!!! The last time I checked (admittedly about 6-8 months ago) gold was around $1800 per troy ounce.. and platinum was only around $650 per troy ounce...!!! 😮😮😮😮
