With such a prolific output on Scott Aukerman’s Earwolf podcast “Comedy Bang! Bang!”, second only to Paul F. Tompkins (not counting the hundreds of times Reggie Watts has visited to sing the opening theme), compiling the Top Ten Lauren Lapkus guest appearances, based on volume of laughs, brilliance of improvisation or quirkiness of characterisation is just too challenging.
Fortunately, working it out mathematically is easy, for Lauren has created exactly ten characters who’ve been on “Comedy Bang! Bang!” three times or more (with a combined 80 appearances between them), perfect for a Lauren Lapkus Top Ten, ranked by their number of visits, here in their debuts (on “Comedy Bang! Bang” that is, one of the characters originating on the podcast “With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus"). In a few cases, two characters have the made the same number of appearances. For such tied rankings, the earliest debut is heard first.
As the episodes have been edited to highlight Lauren’s work on each, much has been left on the cutting room floor.
