Bit of incorrect info giving to you . Your wondering why only 3 times performed was justified. 😁 They performed it 19 times just on there European tour in 2020 . I was lucky enough to be at the Apollo show in London and experienced it live and what an experience . Fans where wondering if Su could do it live ? Dont bet against Su you will lose . That should be written into BabyMetal lore but most of us knew that anyway 😁🤘🦊🤘

Nice reaction. Easy explanation on why it seems like it was only performed a few times. The track was released during their last tour which was then cut short due to covid. The Music video for this song is fun to watch as well. It was released at the start of lockdowns in Japan and came as a total surprise. This song is listed as a bonus track on the 3rd album. Babymetal teasing the fans a bit with that one. Like oh you thought the album was done. We got this killer track for you. The other bonus track from the metal galaxy album belonged to the lighter side of things. But just as fun. BBAB is the only song from their 3 albums that they never performed. Would be cool if they started the next tour with it. Just to get that out of the way. I've been told that the cadence Su uses for this song is traditional spoken word folk style from Japan mixed with an American rap delivery. That's Babymetal lets mix everything style. Showing their diversity again.

The track only appeared on the Japanese pressings of their 2019 album Metal Galaxy and was not performed on their 2018 US tour. Early in 2020 BxMxC replaced Elevator Girl for Babymetal’s European tour - perhaps played 10+ times before COVID struck. There were a series of 1O concerts in between lockdowns in 2021 at Nippon Budokan where they covered most of their repertory including BxMxC (C probably for cypher) They also made a non-live video, and recorded a performance along with Papa Ya for NHK, although the track was never broadcast. We are now starting to get teasers of The Other One/Metalverse, indicating that they are continuing in a Prog Meral direction

My guess is right, we got a BxMxC week, everyone is reacting to this song and this live compilation. No, it wasn't performed a couple of times, the proshot and compilation are from 3 different places but they performed almost 20 times while World Tour In 2020, maybe only 3 times in Japan, that's where the proshot came from. BxMxC probably means BabyMetal Cypher but fans like to have fun saying stand for Bring Moa Chicken, because Moa loves fried chicken 🍗 SuMetal is taking a real challenge with this new trap/rap metal song, she needed to find her flow and boi she can spit some bars and killing it on this one with the attitude. She actually rap since their very first song Doki Doki Morning but of course this one is on another level. But the hip hop and rap elements are more clear on songs like "Iine!" or "Onedari Daisakusen" way before this BxMxC song. This song was the last one added to Metal Galaxy 3rd album and is an exclusive track (along with "↑↓←→BBAB") is clear that they took a challenge on this in such short time, and no wonder why they push this song during live shows outside of Japan. Budokan 2021 and Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 with the sound of the Kami Band and SuMetal without any effect and clean voice is even better. After YuiMetal left the group they implemented this _avenger_ system, a backup dancer to filling the third spot, i think we already mentioned about this. The other day, Pale Horse pointed out to me BMC has the three three seven beats in the part of 'Wanna beats' at 2:06. So this is a cheering song, too! Ah, no... Well, but it is a badass song liket the lyrics are challenging and inspiring to yourself.

Great reaction - I don't know who said it had only been played live a couple of times - it was on the set list for the whole of the UK and Europe tour in 2020. When this first came out it was not liked by quite a lot of fans because of the autotune and effects on Su's vocals in the studio recording and a lot of people thought it would not and could not be played live without those same effects. They were proved very wrong. I experienced a live version of this when they toured the UK and Europe in 2020 - it hits so much harder live and Su absolutely nailed it (as she always does) with none of the autotune or effects on her vocals (there are still effects on the harmonies etc on the backing track, but Su-metal is all Su-metal). They had already blown holes in the roof of every venue, this song took whatever was left right off.🤘 I have 'borrowed' this information (again) - "They talked about 'BxMxC' in a recent interview. SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that. But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget! MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall? SU-METAL: Uh…what was it… KOBAMETAL (who happened to be there): Flow? SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind." I learned after listenign to this song that a Cypher is a form of rap battle which makes sense when you watch the official video. So [B]aby[M]etal [C]ypher? They do say Metal Cypher toward the end of the song.

It's a new song from their latest album and only on their Japan release. There's a second song released on the Japan only release that they haven't done yet. ↑↓←→BBAB is so far audio only. The rich guitar sounds is what does it for me in BxMxC.

BxMxC means Babymetal Cypher, the song was released in 2020 so it's pretty obvious why it hasn't been played live much cause how many live shows have there been since the Pandemic started

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 American fans should be patient to see this performance live for a while. BxMxC has been played live only 3 times even in Japan and 17 times in Europe. UK fans have already showed up here to boast that they had witnessed it because it was performed as many as 4 times in their country😬. Su-Metal is singing about some established style which used to be revolutionary and literally "stylish" but has turned already obsolete like an "Illusion of Rusted Chain" (last phrase of Su's rapping). Lyrics are suggesting breakthrough in or change to the status-quo (including the status of BM itself). When I heard this song in CD for the first time, I was skeptical that this challenging song would be played live on stage. But they did it flawlessly with clear vocal and sharp choreo. I witnessed it twice on Day-7 & 8 in 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts last year. I, a poor skeptic, had to beg our Queen & Princess for their forgiveness. 🥶

This one is not rare, it's one of the great hits in Metal Galaxy album, rare ones are From Dusk Til Dawn (Only 2 times and 1 pro shot on Budokan 2021), Night Night Burn (only 1 time in Legend Metal Galaxy day 1) and " BBAB" (this one havent performed live yet, probably thank to Covid that interrupted their world tour). I would recommend From Dusk Til Dawn and Night Night Burn, because these two are crazily good and different too

Now it's one of my favorites, but it totally broke with what I was minimally used to (minimally because Babymetal doesn't have a defined style of music, which makes them versatile, of course). And the music video is endearing to my generation... Mortal Kombat

This was released as a single and they play it all the time live, maybe you got mixed messages with Tales of the Destinies which they have only performed live once.

Great reaction 👍 but as Grington stated this song has been a regular at their recent concerts since it came out. Few believed it could be played LIVE because of the perceived difficulty but they underestimated Suzuka Nakamoto. She should teach Americans how to rap.
