This one had the studio audio with footage from the LA Forum concert in October 2019 (their first arena show in the USA), and one of the Osaka Jo Hall concerts from November. Supporting dancers were Momoko Okazaki (USA) and Riho Sayashi (Japan). I was at the LA Forum show where the song had it's world debut. It was a blast, and that screen behind them was enormous. I was thrilled they brought that big scale style of production to the States. The guitar solo on the studio track is from Tak Matsumoto. He's best known from the group B'z. They're the best selling artists ever in Japan, and one of the best selling worldwide. BABYMETAL had a bunch of guest artists on the latest album, 'Metal Galaxy', including F.HERO, a rapper from Thailand, and Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy.

Great reactions you two! It's nice that you got your daughter involved, as she is the target audience for Babymetal. In the beginning of Babymetal it was meant to be a group for girls to have a way into heavy metal, and a lot of their early songs were about topics that girls could relate to. Doki Doki Morning was about girls rushing around in the morning, deciding on their makeup, clothes, and hair before going to school. Gimme Chocolate was about wanting to eat chocolate but being concerned with their weight, and Megitsune, which should be your next reaction, is about women being expected to fill traditional Japanese roles, and Babymetal saying, in no uncertain terms, that women and girls should show their various aspects, and that maidens shouldn't be underestimated. Obviously the appeal went way beyond just girls, and really encompasses all demographics these days. Good stuff! This is a newer song and performance, from the latest era of Babymetal. They've been around since 2010, and started when the girls were 11 and 12 years old, so we're approaching their 10th anniversary this month. In reference to checking out the video before inviting your daughter to join in, who is adorable by the way, all Babymetal songs and performances are kid friendly. Some might be more heavy metal than this one, especially stuff from their first two albums (Babymetal and Metal Resistance), but the songs are made for everyone, especially kids, and in particular, girls. Hope to see more reactions from the two of you!

BABYMETAL still get a lot of hate for not being "real Metal", so it's always good to see someone acknowledge the talent and passion that goes into it, even if it's not after their taste.

If you're going to react again with her to Babymetal, one she might like also off the new album is 'Papaya' live of course - that's very heavy and good fun too as is 'BxMxC'. I love these numbers but I prefer the older one's. The Su Metal solo numbers are all brilliant and worth a listen - ' Rondo of Nightmare' including the Mischief of Gods intro by the Kami Band - 'Akatsuki' , 'No Rain no Rainbow' is a beautiful and emotional song and 'Amore' and these are just Su on her own with the band. Other favourites people will ask for are 'Headbanger' , 'Road of Resistance' and 'The One' , 'Syncopation' to name but a few. All of these should be live videos apart from maybe 'Karate'. I'm sure you're already aware but frequent pauses etc to avoid copywrite issues! Loved the both of you together!

Welcome to the Babymetal Family. Each song is different, and this is certainly on the poppier end, but they have pwowermetal to metalcore to deathmetal as well. AAll of it balanced with the dancing and joy in performing. You can't hear one song and say "I know what the band is about", because they will continue to surprise you. Megitsune is a good song to follow up with, or Pa Pa Ya. On a personal not I was at the LA show where half of this video was from, and the video just does not capture the reality of the performance. There are lights, special effects that rival KISS at their most outrageous, singing, dancing, and crowd that is unparalleled in rock today. If you ever get a chance to go, go, it's an amazing time.

Great reaction! BTW, many metalheads bring their children, especially their daughters, to BABYMETAL concerts! The young girls will sometimes dress up in old style BABYMETAL dresses. You can find some great videos of this on KZfaq. If I remember correctly, BABYMETAL had a huge concert night in Japan designated only for young children, their parents, and elderly people. Welcome to the world of BABYMETAL! I'm a 48 years old dude and I listen to their music daily now. They have great songs for your daughter and some really heavy ones with epic guitar, bass, and drum solos that I know you will love!

You're in for a very cool trip down the foxhole if you stick with this band. And I recommend their live clips, as these are almost always more epic than their official videos (mostly...but even the official vids are very cool too). They easily are in the top tier of bands putting on the best live shows in the world today, and they have three solid albums of eclectic metal awesomeness that I have rocked on my headphones many a time. Anyway, enjoy the ride.

You already had or going to have all necessary information provided by numerous enthusiastic BABYMETAL fans from many countries. Their activities are worldwide.
