Babymetal fans get mad when you say that. (except me) But it's true. The lead singer Su was in a 3 girl trio called Karen Girls which was created to do the theme to an anime. The producer Koba saw her performing with Karen Girls (when she was 10) and had the inspiration to make Babymetal. She sang so loud with Karen Girls that 90% of the time she drowned out the other two girls and all you heard was her voice. She always sings the loudest and dances the hardest. Koba was a metal fan assigned to the children's division. When you put all the pieces together it actually makes sense. The Karen Girls songs weren't all that different than Babymetal except that the guitars and drums weren't nearly as heavy. Babymetal is sort of Karen Girls II. Yui Mizuno (the cute one with chubby cheeks) was a huge Karen Girls fan. Yui and Moa were at that Karen Girls performance with Koba the producer as part of another group.
