You should watch the live video of them singing this song as the ending of the DragonForce setlist at a Download Metal Music Festival a few years ago! Babymetal were banned from the festival by the promoters, but DragonForce snuck them in and sacrificed them playing one of their songs and DragonForce instead acted as the Babymetal band playing GIMME CHOCOLATE with these girls on stage - it was amazing!!!!

Metal AF indeed. The song lyrics talk about them worrying about their weight but still wanting chocolate, but it goes deeper than that. On Valentine's day girls have to give chocolate to every man in their orbit. (on White day a month later guys give white chocolate but only to their GF). The chocolate girls have to give is called obligation chocolate, or giri choco in Japanese. This song is gimi choco. They're not giving anything away, they're keeping it. They're planting a stake in the ground, while looking cute and metal.

They are great little punky band who play stripped back, catchy, characterful stuff with clear influences of 70s style punk, for an energetic and enthusiastic mix. These 3 girls are the "holy trinity " the original line up untll 2017 although Yui left through her illness officially 2018.
