This was filmed at the Legend 1997 concert held to celebrate the 15th birthday of Su-metal in December 2013, and it has gone on to become probably their most famous performance, as this song is the one that went viral in 2014 and made them famous around the world. Being their most iconic track, they play it at almost all of their live shows to this day. Although it’s their most famous song by virtue of being a more extreme example of the wild juxtaposition of the cuteness of J-pop with the heaviness of thrash metal, it’s not really a great example of their capabilities. They're obviously loved in the states now and have enough notoriety, but I remember when they did one of their first shows here they (bigger US bands) were nervous about how we'd respond to them. I might have the band names wrong but I think it was Judas Priest (or Metallica) that went on stage with them to help them get a more positive reaction.
