I got the honour to attend one of their concerts a few years back in Germany, I travelled an entire day by train for it, but holy shit, even in Germany the crowd was FILLED with hyped people who danced & sang along ( I even met some Japanese people who travel along w/ the band, it's insane!!!), so if you ever get the chance to see them live; DO IT!!!!!! Cami band + the vocals + the hyped atmosphere is addictive!!

2018 has been a rollercoaster for Babymetal, Lost of Mikio, Yui leaving, but also new songs, new outfits, new concept, lot of new members, first 2 (so a 4 piece band -the girls, not counting the kami band) then they were 7 girls plus the kami band and now they are a trio again so who knows what is it going to be now.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 This was from the 'Legend 1997' concert in 2013, celebrating Su-metal's 16th Birthday. Even though the song is about a fifteen year old girl attending her first rock concert, Su was only fourteen when this was originally recorded. It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was on stage, rather than attending concerts. : ) Both Yui and Moa got to take over on lead vocals for this song at their first two European shows, that were close to their fifteenth birthdays.

BABYMETAL really shines with their live performances, as you've noticed. They have some of the most devoted fans in the world. They play with some of the best musicians available. RIP Mikio Fujioka, he's one of the guitarists in this performance. Yuimetal has indeed left the group, you pointed her out correctly, she's the one to the left (stage right) of Su-metal in this video. She left due to "health reasons" and is apparently trying to start her own solo career. Good luck to her! My recommendation would be my personal favorite: Rondo of Nightmare (With Mischiefs of God Intro) as it's titled on KZfaq. A dark, heavy, beautiful song with an intro that shows off a little bit of each of the band member's talents.

Yuimetal left, not to be her own person, but because of health reasons, they tried to keep her for almost a year. But seems like she just couldn't return. Yes, that was Yuimetal when you showed/asked. Babymetal live is best Babymetal. :-) If you have the chance, Babymetal live if amazing. What is interesting is Babymetal gets fans from all ages and backgrounds together.

@@RosstaFloss In her statement when she left Yui said her desire to return to the stage was strong but she was still not well enough and so she had decided to leave the band but she hoped in the future to pursue her long held personal dreams as Yui Mizuno. I think some people may have missed the bit about her health and only tagged onto the last part of her statement. Good reaction - Headbanger is one of my favourites.

@@chrismartino3519 Seems most likely a back injury, as it looked like she was wearing a brace during her last show. Which explains why it took so long to heal or maybe never get back to what it ones was. Back injuries can be very hard to return from. Similar how people in professionals sports can't come back after a knee injury.

Japan is starting to conform to metal, especially the girls there. Check out Audrey and Kate. They do covers while play guitar and bass through a video game called Rocksmith. They are quite good and entertaining. They are 15 and 11? Rock on Japan!

Welcame back!! Great reaction for BABYMETAL. In that concerts the girls play "Gimme Chocolate" amazing song. React BABYMETAL outside Japan "Ijime, Dame, Zetai" Sonisphere 2014, "Karate" Download Fest 2016 or "Distortion" Download Fest 2018 (without Yui :( )....

Glad you back reacting to BabyMetal as i enjoyed your reactions to karate and Road of Resistance. There is a wealth of BabyMetal performances its picking the best and its hard picking because they never give anything less than there best. Megitsune at the same concert as this or Toyko Dome version which will be no doubt be posted in comments usely by killingmachine very good links.

Hey RosstaFloss! you have reacted to both Band Maid and Babymetal so i would like to recommend another Japanese Metal band called " Unlucky Morpheus " ( you should love them) :) PLEEEEEASE! do a reaction for Unlucky Morpheus - 「CADAVER」「REVADAC」 it's a 2 song video first they play CADAVER and then right after that they play it BACKWARDS! so REVADAC! Finally! Must have been almost a year since your last BM reaction. Your "Road of Resistance" video is one I keep watching over and over again, it's just so much fun to see you getting into them. I never bought the "health reasons" story regarding Yui's absence, and still don't, but she's gone and that sucks because I want everything about Babymetal to stay exactly the same, which of course is impossible as they're all adult women now and you can't act "kawaii" forever. Also, Band-Maid are brilliant. I saw "Thrill" come up next in that playlist and you mentioned you want to check them out, so when you do, be advised that Thrill's not really a 'typical' Band-Maid song, so you might want to start with something like Dice, Don't You Tell ME, Domination, Real Existence, or The Non-Fiction Days.

Yeah, it really was health related. She was seen wearing a back brace in her last performances, and she had "moon face" which is a typical side effect from cortisol shots. Koba and Amuse gave her over a year to recuperate and get healthy, but it seems Yui just couldn't go on.

I read all those speculations about her back brace and "moon face" and lack of energy, but I was never able to see a brace of any kind I didn't notice her face looking swollen. I thought she was just growing up and features change a bit when you're going from pre-teen to teen to young woman. I did notice a lack of energy, but that could just be because she wasn't all that into it anymore, or that she was just literally tired, as they have a pretty rigorous dance routine. I just never believed that story because I know how the idol industry works, and I hope she's not actually ill.

Hm, yeah I can see it there, looks like the same type of support I wear at work. I have a pain under my ribs on the back left side which makes functioning difficult sometimes. Not sure if it's a pulled muscle or what, but if she has something similar, that would definitely make performing at their level more than a little difficult. Thanks for pointing me to them.

@@satomiwa if you watch some of the fox festivile videos 2017 that is when i noticed she was not herself .Vlogers Emma and Jesse 2 of there fans who always dress like them (its like find wally spoting them. They have being to a lot of there shows)also said she was not smiling as much and did not look her normel self at that concert.
