So, in the old concerts, the "band" in those skull costumes were called the "Babybones". They were just there for show & didn't really play the instruments. For the last few years now, they have a real band that plays known as the "Kami Band".

When ever you see the guys in the skeleton suits they are not actually playing the instruments. The girls are singing to prerecorded music. If it's the Kami Band, the guys in corpse paint and white robes, those guys are playing the music live. The guys in the Kami Band are some world class musicians and seriously rock. Babymetal no longer does shows with playback and always have their band with them.

This version of Headbanger is used to celebrate one of the girls birthday, this concert was on or within a few days of Su's birthday.

Headbanger is a song they experiment with. during both Moa and Yui's...15th birthday (might be 16th, don't quote me), they took over and they sang the main chorus while Su became just a dancer. was cute as hell. There is some video out there about this. I recommend checking out Wagakki Band, Senbonzakura. you will be impressed.

Something kind of interesting since you are also doing reactions to Pentatonix. Fine Bros did a video KZfaqrs react to Babymetal that had a couple of the guys from Pentatonix in it. They really liked BM and were saying they should go see Babymetal or maybe do a cover of a BM song. Then the Fine Bros did a reaction video of Babymetal reacting to the KZfaqrs react to Babymetal. The girls from Babymetal recognized the guys from Pentatonix and were all excited that they wanted to see Babymetal's show and possibly do a cover. It was obvious that BM are fans of Pentatonix.
