'Iine' (as you have been told, that is a capital i, not an L at the start, so it is pronounced ee-neh) means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji👍 it was only the second song they released, so 2011 I think (it was their third song but IDZ was released later) and they were clearly establishing very early on that all the usual rules of what you can do, what genres you can mix into one song and so on were not going to apply to BABYMETAL. So EDM, a bit of hip hop (the studio version does have a short rap - check the official video) and then that drop into death metal - quite possibly the best drop into death metal from hip hop ever - and then back to the EDM to finish. As the song title suggests - it is so good.👍 In most live versions they dropped the rap and it became a call and response (they kept it in some live performances of course - "BABYMETAL in da house!"). This was the same concert in March 2014 as Su-metal's performances of 'Akatsuki' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow' that you reacted to before .... so she was 16, Yui and Moa still only 14. They are the youngest average age female band to headline at the Budokan - they sold it out two nights runnuing (Red Night and Black Night - most of the videos from these concerts that you will find are from the Black night).

They did two wonderful nights in a row but with some struggles, especially the first night called Red Night, this one was Black Night, last year they came back to this same place to celebrate their 10 Years anniversary and take revenge from those hard days when debuting, that shows you how hard working they are. first a minor correction of a mistake that a lot of people seem to make. the song is iine (pronounce ee-nay). I believe this show was in 2014 and Su would have been 16 and Moa and Yui 14. to update their ages, Su just turned 25 on December 20th and Moa and Yui are 23, although Yui left the group back in 2017. Babymetal started as a sub unit of Sakara Gakuin back in 2010. if you were expecting more from the one section, you may want to check out the "official" music video for a pleasant surprise.

I have the first BabyMetal CD in my car and this tends to be the 1st song I turn on when I start driving. It gets me in a good mood before I have to fight thru traffic. No road rage when you got the BabyMetal making you happy.

They were determined to keep from being boxed in to a single genre from the start. This is the probably the ultimate, "Do you like music genres? We smooshed them all into this one song for you." My favorite EDM Dance Rave electro HipHop Kawaii Metal JPop Death Idol song of all time. : ) Too bad they haven't performed this one since they toured with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in April of 2017. It's one of the handful that haven't been performed since Yui left the group. They're having some fun with the HipHop style, (As they say in another version: "That's not the Metal, is it?") before they hit us with the heaviest part of the song.

This is Babymetal"s manifesto song that says "We will not be pigeon-holed into any one style or genre of music or metal! They do rap in the album version, but it is replaced by a call and response in live shows.

Official song and MV has ladies rapping during hip hop section. Don't know why they omitted it at this show except they did crowd interaction.
