'Onedari Daisakusen' = 'Operation Beg Dad For It' They are using all the tricks they know and can think of to get Dad to buy them ALL the shiny things. The red coats were a special for this one, normally they would have worn skeleton hoodies when they sang this. The whispered vocals in the background were Su-metal. At some shows fans would print bank notes (in the currency of the country they were in) with Yui's and Moa's faces on and they'd hand them out in the queue to everybody they could and at just the right moment in the song the bank notes would all go up in the air like confetti.

This is my first BabyMetal song. I replayed it for a week. Then click on the second song "Headbanger". And found out that they are three. They also have a lead singer Su-metal. This surprised me! These two little girls are already singing very well, how good is the lead singer? After listening to "Headbanger", I started my BabyMetal journey. Thanks your great reaction.

💀 💕 / 💸 💸 "One for the money! Two for the money! Three for the money! Money! Money! Money! Money!" 'Onedari Daisakusen' is about sweet talking Dad (and Mom, but mostly Dad) into buying them things. The lyrics really have to be interpreted through the lens of a little kid. BTW, that's Su on the backing track. This song could even be described as "Black BABYMETAL - FEAT. Su-metal". : ) Sadly this song seems to be permanently retired now since the members have all grown up. As are the winter coats they wore just for this show, and the skeleton hoodies they usually wore for this one. Last performance was at Tokyo Dome in 2016, a "perform all the songs" set of shows. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) got the heaviest songs, and were the first in the group to "challenge rap metal". BTW, the other Black BABYMETAL song you've reacted to was 'Sis.Anger'. That leaves '4 no Uta' from the first album, and 'GJ!' from the second.

The lyrics are a tiny bit unusual for a Metal song: They are about flattering your Dad into buying you things. At one point they are saying they want to marry their Dad once they grow up. Some people consider that controversial, which I don‘t understand at all. It‘s something many little girls say at some point, it‘s totally cute and innocent.

You have been doing each song, but just imagine how all those songs are combined into one concert. That's the biggest psychological roller coaster you could ever experience in a good sense. Most likely, if you see Babymetal in the USA it will be in a smaller 2 to 3k venue. I have seen them in an arena show and in small shows and they are both great. The small shows feel much more intimate and you can get really close to where you can see their actual smiles without the help of a big screen.

Great way to start the new year! I knew LVT would be into this one because Yui and Moa are super adorable in it. So now you've heard the best Limp Bizkit song (Fred Durst's voice is sampled in this, so it counts in my book). I think this is the Babymetal song I'm most disappointed that I'll definitely never be able to hear live; not only did Yui leave, but this is one of the songs they've definitely outgrown in terms of lyrics and subject matter, so there's no way it's ever going to be performed again.

Awadama Fever is the one I always ask to see a react for, and barely anyone does it on that track, which is a shame because personally that is one of the most emblematic BABYMETAL tracks of the Yui era.

I just wanted to give a Babymetal update . They performed on a huge Japanese New Years Eve television program. As usual the performances were yanked off KZfaq but got to see them . Babymetal did a really short Ijame, Dame, Zettai , about 3 plus minutes but still rocked . They were then involved with an XJapan collaboration of their song " Endless Rain " . Yoshiki of XJapan , Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen performed probably pre-recorded . In studio live were a boy band in the center stage . On two sets of stairs were two solo female artist on the left and Su and Moa on the right . Su sang about 30 to 40 second solo and sounded great . Later Su and Moa were shown singing with the rest of the group . Moa looked like she was having a great time even though she was holding a mic lol .

Yeah the NHK 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' is an annual music program in Japan for the past 70 YEARS and continues to be the most popular TV program each year, with an unprecedented viewership of over 40%. This was their first participation, don't forget they are still the odd ones in Japanese Mainstream. I was so happy for the girls. 🦊🤘 Also the Endless Rain colab (another fav. of mine LiSA was in there too) gave me some tears.🤗

I just watched the ending when the winner was announced and Su and Moa got a lot of air time . They were really cute when they started jumping when their team won and flashed plenty of kitsune .

Honestly , the entire "Legend 1997" concert is just prefect. It is for sure my favorite BabyMetal concert. You should check out the intro to this show, which started with 'Ave Maria' which lead directly into a special remixed version of 'Headbanger'. Moa and Yui's dancing in this version of 'Headbanger' is really impressive and of course they're on point the entire time. Obviously they'd normally open with 'BabyMetal Death', as discussed in other videos, but since they closed this show with the crucifixion during that song, they did a special opening instead. Happy New Year LVT & MAGZ , the best shows to attend are the Japanese ones , I went to the Tokyo Dome shows (and i live in Australia) for both Red and Black nights back in September 2016 and was awesome experience and shows . The Japanese crowds added to the show intensity , plus was one hell of stage they had

You guys have seen “Sis Anger” and “Onedari Daisakusen”. You have NOT seen “GJ” and “Song 4/4 no uta”. If I’m not mistaken, I believe “Song 4” was something Moa and Yui wrote themselves while on tour.

This is one of my favorite babymetal songs, the entire premise of this song is about them begging their dad for toys and sweets, おねだり大作戦 (onedari daisakusen) means begging mission, the bridge where the crowd is jumping up and down is 買って買って買って買って！buy it buy it buy it buy it! It is such a heavy song but with such silly lyrics. This song is actually a Japan exclusive track, it was not released on the English track so this was a special treat when it was released!

I’m kinda curious what will happen if/when LVT meets babymetal in person... I can picture it now LVT “I’m going to adopt you as my child, Moa.” Moa “But..... I have a mum and dad” LVT “shh, shhhh my child, lvt’s here” Moa “but I’m nearly 22... The song was modeled after the "Limp Bizkit sound". That's at least what Kobametal said in an interview in 2013 or 2014. These little intro videos before Black BABYMETAL songs in the early days always tell a story of how Moa & Yui get pulled to the "dark side". Some kind of villain offering them sweets or something similar. Afterwards Su always needed to get them back on the right track somehow with a solo of hers.

In Onedari Daisakusen, Yui and Moa have sung little girls darkness, like "I love Dad, but..money better than Dad." Btw, yesterday night on the New year's eve In Japan, BABYMETAL has apppeared on NHK special live TV program after a long time. They sang IDZ(short ver.). Su-, Moa, and Momoko were all awesome and beautiful as ever. But Kami Band was masked and was not zoomed up. It was a little bit bad.

Nice video! If I'm not mistaken, the black babymetal songs you already did was Sis. Anger and this one so I guess the other two black babymetal songs you haven't did yet was Song 4 and GJ!. Here's a bit of information about the two. Song 4 lyrics was written by Yui and Moa themselves so if you like to hear what's going on in their minds, please listen to this and look up the lyrics later. GJ! is probably one of their song with the best breakdowns. They are also rapping here that Moa mentioned in an interview that gave them a challenge. If you have nothing else in your list, please react to these two and I'm sure you'll love it.

I might be late in mentioning this, but just to point something out; their really big, flashy shows are only done in Japan. They do have big shows elsewhere in terms of size, but when it comes to the big theatrics and massive props and such, they've only ever done those in Japan. I imagine lugging that kind of gear around the world for international shows would just be too expensive. Sorry if this is a downer, but for what it's worth Babymetal is obviously far more than their props so I'm confident that any show of theirs, big or small, would be awesome.

It was something I learned long ago in my high school psychology class. Daughters and dads, sons and mothers. Isn't it true that some daughters grow up and do indeed marry their "father"? Boys grow up and marry their "mother". The qualities of their parents' personalities is what they search for in a marriage mate. Some commenters choose to go the other direction. It's very disgusting.

This is one of my favorite songs by Babymetal! As far as seeing them live, it's not as awesome as it looks. Its very hard to watch the girls preform when you are deep in the crowd and watching out for crowd surfers every five minutes. Those crowd surfers really suck the fun out of the experience.
