The live performances of this have been completely wild and the crowds are going nuts! 🤘🤪🤘 They are currently touring the US with Dethklok and everything I've seen or read so far suggests these are the tickets to get (if any are left) This song was not on their recent album, I think you would like most (if not all) of that album - but it does have a different feel to this song. Also none of the most recent BABYMETAL videos seem to be being blocked at all, so you should be safe with any reactions you choose to do - I think maybe 'Mirror Mirror' would be one that would appeal to you for a start, but there are 10 great songs on the album This is Momometal's first official music video since she was revealed as the official new member in April and she even got her own solo part with the spoken kabuki theatre section. The song title translates as 'Metali' (or 'Metari') which is a fusion of the words metal and matsuri (festival). The song is about a Metal Village holding a metal festival, so they have included all the matsuri shouts everybody would be calling out as encouragement to the people carrying heavy floats etc like "Sore, Sore", "Dokoisho" and "Wasshoi!". They are inviting us all to dance - I am reliably informed there is something in the lyrics (Su sings it and it is in Momometal's kabuki section) about we are all idiots or fools - the idiots who watch and the idiots who dance ... so as we're all here and we're all idiots why just watch, we may as well all dance.

BM is currently touring in the US with Dethklok, and I just saw them on 9/2/23 in Orlando. They played this new song as well(Metali = Metal x Masturi) and the entire show was so incredible!🤘

At JAPANESE FESTIVALS, you will often see a group of people carry portable shrines on their shoulders. They shout "WASSHOI WASSHOI ... " endlessly as they move about. _Wasshoi wasshoi!_ _Wasshoi wasshoi!_ Hey guys, it's been a while, you won't get blocked with any of the official BM songs from the new album so don't worry about it and hope to see you around with more. We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this recently at Houston starting the Babyklok Tour in the US and many more cities, as well in Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka, hopefully they will do the same at Blue Ridge Rock, Aftershock or Louder Than Life and get the crowd going nuts with this. It's their first song released with this new BM reborn and formation. The live debut was at Apocrypha - Another One exclusive show right before the track released, it was fun and totally unexpected, everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it. The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when one of them (MomoMetal, the new official member since April) is doing the Kabuki moves style. Just so you know "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festival when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya you can hear in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is a shamizen, also used in Megitsune. I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts. I'm gonna try to leave in my next comment where to get clips safe to react if YT let me do it, and don't worry about strikes, that's pretty unusual nowadays on BM songs unless you're trying to get money using content from them, so you will only get a blocked with clips coming from live shows released on DVD/BD or exclusive streaming platforms. I noticed the Shadow of Intent album on the wall behind you: the drummer for that band is Anthony Barone, who is the touring drummer for Babymetal in their "Kami Band of the West", playing cites in the US right now. In the past seven days they've hit Houston, Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, and it will be Nashville tonight, the first of 30 stops in their co-headline NA tour with Dethklok. 🤘

Niiiice! They are in their mid 20's now, some of the more popular performance videos of them are from the 2013's and up, so ~10 year span at that age is very noticeable. Fun fact: I saw you had Shadow of Intent on the wall. Their drummer, Anthony Barone has been part of Kami Band West and plays for Babymetal in a lot of their live shows since ~2020s (could be wrong on year). 🤘🦊

Good reaction, thanks and welcome back! It looks like the "blocking master" is being more kind with reactors now that they released a new album and a few singles. This one is not part of their latest album, by the way. But fingers crossed! Song's name is "Metali" (metari), a combination of "metal" and "matsuri" (traditional Japanese festival). So it's (obviously) a "matsuri" influenced song. It's full of chants and calls and responses and lyrics are about hyping the crowd and exhorting them to sing and dance along. So yes, it's very uplifting. 😊 Musically it's very groovy and funky and I love Su-metal's clean yet aggressive vocals here. Really cool collaboration with Tom Morello. And very happy for Momoko on her first song and music video as an official member. And for herspecial feature on that kabuki (traditional theater) style interlude. Until next time! 🤘🦊

With this song they add even more fun for an awesome live experience. The Kami band get to jam for a bit (like in Catch Me If You Can before the girls return to the stage) and in the middle of the song Su will tell the whole crowd to "Sit down" then Momometal takes her place..Metali..Metali...ARE YOU READY!?!?!?! Then we all jump in unison as they get back to the song. Just asweome

Welcome back and thanks from Japan 有難う 💛 The title is a synthesized word from two words : "Metal" and "Matsuri 祭 (festival)" → Metali. And if you want to know the deep meaning of the lyrics please check Professor Hartley's channel (Andrew Hartley). I witnessed this song live twice in August : World premiere (live debut) in a special show and Performance at huge festival "Summer Sonic Tokyo". At the actual venues, this song followed after an intro with Western Kamis' cool instrumental solos. Oh My Buddha! 😍 I got hyped like an idiot in the simplicity of this song. Momometal's extravagant elocution and moves in Kabuki style (and her growl in live show) gave an amazing accent in the exciting repetitiveness. The repetitive わっしょい "Wasshoi" is a call or yell used in Japanese Matsuri (festival). It is a kind of phrase to intensify people's excitement and especially to encourage the power of guys who are carrying a heavy Mikoshi on their shoulder that is a kind of a float in Western style festivals. [FYI : In the festival, BABYMETAL was a closing act after 8 artists. Evanescence performed right before them. I was moved to tears by Amy Lee's "Bring Me To Life".]

Understand about the Amuse and blocks. Suggest reacting to high quality compilation videos of LIVE BabyMetal performances which use actual LIVE audio from one performance edited seamlessly in with footage from multiple concerts which fools the algorithm to help prevent blocking. FYI,none of the videos from the latest album "The Other One" have been blocked,so you can react to them without any concern. This particular song is not off that album,this is the first song of the new era of Babymetal with Momoko Okazaki (Momometal) as an official member of Babymetal. And yes,this song has been absolute🔥live when they've played it on the current tour of the U.S.

Just to let you know their latest stuff has been reactor-friendly. All the songs from their last album "The Other One" have played for other reactors without blocks, so on their channel it starts with "Divine Attack - Shingeki -" to now, though this single is brand new and is not on the album interestingly. 🤘🦊🤘

Subtitles come up in Spanish, before English.......I follow Babymetal & Rammstein lyrics in Spanish to know what they're meaning......a subject for debate is English is losing its status. Subtitles for foreign language songs primarily come up in Spanish.
