They become very good friends with Sabaton during live tour and they were the support band, later Joakim was a special guest during "Meta Taro" live at Dark Night Carnival 2018, last year during an interview Joakim revealed a possible new collaboration with BM, those words and wishes were real with the Sabaton's Europe Tour as a special guests, many fans were expecting this could be one of the songs performing together, but sadly that didn't happen. Oh MAJINAI is a folk metal song, following the spirit of Meta Taro, is part of their 3rd album Metal Galaxy and following that theme going around the world and gathering metal and rhythms from all over the galaxy, they're telling us a story about a metal paradise where you can't get in with an adult mindset or else you'll be curse with the spell dancing the "shakariki mosh", that cossack dance style you saw them dancing. This is another of their fun songs - and as far as influences for this one there are a few places around Europe could stake a claim. Su-metal seems to be particularly fond of folk metal of one kind or another. In at least one interview she named this as her favourite song on the third album and she previously said 'Meta Taro' was her favourite from the second.

Nice reaction. The witch voice is a backing track. This song is funny. Because in part it's why they have Doki Doki Mornings. They travel the world partying and dancing all night. Here they do it so much they get everyone dancing and get lost. So, of course you just summon a witch to help you out. What you never done that. Yeah, me either. Babymetal magic. The witch helps them and then they go right back to dancing with everyone. Well, at least the audience. Their music is one stop shopping. All the genres are here. Babymetal go down the foxhole and you don't really need to go anywhere else.

BABYMETAL is the one and only band who can employ Joakim, a famous muscular metal singer, as a comical character in a playful song. After the world premiere of this song on Jan. 25, 2020 (I was there !), Su and Moa complained jokingly that every audience did not see the girls dancing but watched gigantic Joakim on the backdrop 😄 . This song is a little bit controversial. Many European fans are claiming the origin of this song. Irish, Russian, Swedish, Polish, Czech and Finnish. From a neutral position as a Japanese, I can say this is Europe-ish 🤔 . (FYI. This song was performed twice in Russia in 2020. Tens of hyped audiences did shoulder-to-shoulder circle pits. And a guy in St. Petersburg danced Cossack style in the center of the friendly pit. Cossack dance is originated from Ukraine. Where are those Russian and Ukrainian fans now ? 😢)

i was never a bar type of person,but i got into an irish folk/rock band called the fenians by seeing them at summer concerts in the park back in 2004. when summer was over i went to see them at their home base called the harp inn,an irish pub in costa mesa california. i went alone,and knew no one there, but by the end of the night i felt like i belonged. people were so friendly, everyone dancing with everyone. a night in this 300 person capacity irish pub moved me so much i had tears in my eyes on the way home. that's what i think a babymetal show is going to be like,and i can't wait to see them in october.

BabyMetal for me, were the first band to show that metal could be fun. Up to that point, metal was serious and discussed at length over beer. I never recall anyone or reading the music press explaining that metal should be fun. Yes, there were some well over the top shows on stage, think Kiss but it was spectacular and amazing, rather than fun. You make a very good point with your answer. BabyMetal is all genres!

That's enough for me, I enjoy seeing her this happy. All that is true, And they have performed with DragonForce as well, more than once. One of the times at Download Festival 2015 when they were banned by Andy Copping (Download Festival promoter). So, Li and the guys snuck them in and played "Gimme Chocolate" with the girls while the crowd went nuts and Copping couldn't believe it. 🤣 🤘🦊

This is my least favourite BABYMETAL song. Thankfully, even their "worst" song is still pretty damn good. And of course it's great fun live. If you get a chance to watch the song Meta Taro from the Dark Night Carnival show, you can see Joakim on stage with the girls (and Darth Vader...) for a moment.

Moa being Moa @4:06. She is just too adorable. This song is crazy fun live. Many fans don't care for it too much as it is a bit repetitious but they also can't deny that it is too much fun live. I still enjoy it and the girls sure seem too with those smiles they are having the entire time. Moa did say this dance is tough on her feet though. 🤘🦊🤘 I love the bagpipe section. Chills.

I love Sabaton and Babymetal but this song isn't in my top favourites. That doesn't mean much tho, because I still love every single one Babymetal song, including this one.

Just give up on rationalizing or explaining..its a wild ride through the foxhole, just enjoy while you can. It will take a while to catch up with their catalogue, and there's nothing like those first times on each song..if you go carefully enough, most of those first times will be amazing. Why so? Cause, you just might waste some of them on bad versions, those are out there too. And..once you catch up to them, it can be rough to wait for new songs.
