Easily one the most impressive young people I have ever seen. The level of confidence and ability to make clear and concise answers is so clear. The section about her finding “a new Su “is particularly enlightening. Every challenge was accepted, met, and achieved. Very impressed. No doubt she will accomplish every goal that is in her future.

This interview is quite unique compared to the other interviews I've seen with Su. Here, I feel I get a glimpse of what she's realy like. She seems very comfortable in the situation and you can tell that she is speaking freely. Not like in some of the Babymetal interviews where her responses seem automatic and pre-arranged (for PR purposes ofcourse). Not sure why I've missed this interview for so long (I see it's from Oct 2014). But I'm glad I found it and enjoyed it very much. And thankyou once again, Thomas Malone, for taking the time to translate it for me. Your hard work is much appreciated.

Su speaks as fast as a machine gun. Russian is my first language. English is my second language. I also study Japanese. It seems to me that even with Russian subtitles I won't have time to read as fast as Su says. Of course she's always great!

This was very informative into Suzuka Nakamoto's personality. She's pretty sharp and has the perfect attitude towards things. And her goal at the graduation was to make everyone cry, hahaha

Holly crap! Amazing having 14-15 year old Su dropping leadership knowledge as a seasoned CEO. If all bosses and leaders took her approach, we would be in a far better situation.

A natural born leader. It's amazing how bright and wise Su is. I guess she's had to grow up fast during her career. The best part is that she has the strengths and abilities of a great leader while remaining humble.

Chiura Raimu But she had heard the call, Babymetal was formed some 2½ years prior. But this interview was specifically with Su-chan, soon to graduate senior from SG, and not Su-metal. They are different and we hear Suzuka-san allude to this in the interview. She's no poser, they are all genuine parts of Suzuka (which is in part why so many of us adore the girls of SG). I think many performers are this way, just ask Sasha Fierce.

I think its so incredible fascinating seeing the young Su from 2012 and compare her to the Su we have seen on the Metal Galaxy Tour. She really evolved from a cute schoolgirl to the godess of heavy metal which is able to hynoptize and command a crowd of 20.000+ people. The headbanger performance from Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 comes to mind. And dont get me started on BMC... this girl is incredible.

At 10:11 Su probably said father not brother. Su has 2 older sisters, no brothers. Her father was in a rock band in his youth. One of his friends from that time is in JAM project.

Probably the best interview I've seen with Su simply because it seemed laid back and natural where as most seem way to stiff and scripted

maybe because the interviewers were interviewing her in english that's why she cant express herself that thoroughly and also Kobayashi taught them an outline script on how to answer the FAQs of the interviewers that's why it seems to be not genuine.

...and also another reason was that mostly of the people who interviewed her/them (BabyMetal) are metal fans who are basically males who don't have any talent to connect with a female's heart so their questions are basically just limited to BM's performances and their interests towards metal music. They fail to question them about their personal dreams, hopes, and struggles that they experience in their career.

Sorry, that's both sexist and misleading/wrong. Koba is very specific about what/how questions are allowed to be asked, it's not like the interviewers don't want to hear those answers.

Zooropa_Station i'm not trying to be sexist but there's really something that's hard to explain about how girls communicate with each other and boys communicate with each and how boys and girls communicate with each other especially if it comes to personality and cultural background differences. i think the girls are somewhat uncomfortable about sharing these kinds of thoughts (like their plans/dreams outside the metal music industry) to the interviewers...it's not that koba is limiting them from not saying these things but the girls themselves just find it awkward to share these and i think the interviewers also find it awkward to ask these kind of questions. I believe this makes their other interviews seems stiff and scripted just like how Eggdrasil described

I'm also referring to the Frequently Asked Questions like who is their favorite band is, which is METALICA. It's obvious Koba told them that it should be their answer making it scripted but the girls also genuinely like the band

People seemed to be confused. This is an interview with Suzuka Nakamoto and NOT SU-METAL. She knows the difference when being interviewed if it's for Sakura Gakuin or for BABYMETAL. ONE is as herself, Suzuka and the other is as SU-METAL.

This is a great and important clip for some insight to the girl who referred to herself as "ordinary" Nakamoto Suzuka, SG Nakamoto Suzuka, and "cool" Suzuka who could also do metal. None among the three would have known that people around the world would one day call her the Queen of Metal 😖

9:51 "A-sha" is abbreviation of "artist shashin". Photographs of singer,idol, etc. to promote. 14:02 NOT Akita! SU said "actor" meaning "Actors School Hiroshima". Abbreviation is sometimes so difficult!xD And I'm too conscious about that part, because I'm from Hiroshima!xP Perfume, Sayashi Riho of Morning Musume and Nakamoto sisters were from that school. And maybe the most interesting information about this vid, Mr.Minewaki, elder interviewer and hardcore Sakura Gakuin fan, is the president of Tower Records Japan!

3:21-25 'number 9' is wrong. Correctly 'type KU'. Sakura Gakuin's DVD are 3 types, type 'SA'（さ盤）, type 'KU'（く盤） and type 'RA'（ら盤）.

I'm not an expert in japanese but I'm hearing Naku (cry) and Nakanai (don't cry). Mondai nai means something like "no problem".

YUI is the singer-songwriter who is famous in Japan. YUIMETAL is another person :)

why do the subtitles refer to Sue in the 3rd person? is it a Japanese thing or a character she had for SG like Sumetal for example?

It is a Japanese thing to use pronouns as little as possible. They either use names or just skip the pronouns when it is clear from context who they are talking about.
