I love how at 8:48 rora and asa hugged cus they were the ones who werent gonna make it and how ruka made eye contact with asa 7:40 when she was crying and then later after comforting other members in the background u can see ruka separating from the group to give asa a hug 8:56. They've been together so long ruka and asa especially both being japanese have always leaned on each other theyve been together since their first audition. You can also see this with chiquita and pharita how she goes to her 8:25. Theyre all close but I especially always find foreigners friendships really wholesome when theyre from the same country and have the same native language (chiquita+pharita, ruka+asa) we havent had enough content to see as much from them especially with chiquita and pharita but u just know its strong by the way all 4 look and talk about each other even in chiquitas video u could see pharita helping her say korean phrases. In her introduction video Asa said shes always leaned on ruka for the past 4years and u can really see that even in the little moments throughout all the videos - the introduction videos, the character playlist, evaluations, bts and now - I feel like thats how it is for those 4 its not that the other members arent as close to them bcus they are all so close already for being a predebut group but its the fact that they are there at all that makes it such a big deal. Over the next few years they might not be the famous friendship from the group but the fact that have each other means at the end of the day they will forever be each others rock and the person who when theyre missing home they can talk to. Its almost like a silent reassurance just like how Pharita and ruka hugged chiquita and asa without saying much at all I remember my first thought when hearing that someone might be eliminated was that they would lose that and im so glad they didnt I think we as fans sometimes look over just how hard it is for these girls who come to a new country alone unable to speak the language. Everyone knows its hard but at the same time I think its hard for a lot of us to even understand what they go through. They arent even adults they are literally kids when they leave their family, their childhood and everything theyve ever known for a dream that isnt even promised to come true. They have to endure months to years of constant mental and physical strain/abuse all while having to literally compete with other girls their age (trainee life is very competitive its not just survival shows) it is so meaningful that they have someone they can talk to in their own language from their own culture and im so glad in this group theres at least 2 from each country bcus in a lot of groups members are alone

RORA was like: ok, I did not make it this time, life goes on. ASA, on the contrary, was about to burst. When the 5th member was revealed she flinched briefly. When the 7 member were revealed she finally burst. Japanese line always end up being my biases.

However, I guess he is trying to create the best team and all 7 practiced as if they could be cut and they came out so amazing. Since Anyeon is so young, she just isn't confident in herself. (At least I remember how I was as a teenager) .While she knows she's good, she also saw how good others were, making her less confident in herself as she goes.
