See? Sometimes the fans can actually influence these decisions when we act as one. YG Family power! We just need to try and keep the fandom from becoming split like our other fandoms. The ages that was shown in this announcement video is not correct, which is interesting LOL! Which means that Yang Hyunsuk must have filmed this announcement video either couple months after the final mission last year or probably earlier this year. As of right now, these are the correct ages of the girls. Ruka just turned 21 this past March Pharita is 17 Asa just turned 17, last month Ahyeon just turned 16 last month Haram is 15 Rora is 14 Chiquita turned 14 this past Feb.

Im sooooo freaking emotional. Soo many fans seeimg YG differently and actually be supportive of the agency. YG made a decision but some really think he doesn't do this often. IKON, TREASURES, MOBB and BABYMONSTER are a example. I have a example of YG listening to fans. Becayse this isnt new. - WIN WHO IS NEXT - the survival show where YG's WINNER came forth had allot of fans cheering for team B( ikon). Then YG explain he shares the semtiment with the fand decided to give ikon another chance. YG rarely debutes groups from same gender right after each other. - treasure wouldve been 7ish members at furst but became 12 because YG saw potential in all of them and fans showed theur opinions too triugh socual media votes. - MOBB ( BOBBY/MINO) Subunit wasnt received well, the them ingiijg feud bewteen fandoms made it hard for both to continue their unit. Both rappers didnt get the recognition and support from fans that they deseved. YG had to cut that off. That must have been a gard hard decision. YG took pride in having top rappers who brokethe barrier of idol rappers in SMTM. Years later its still a touchy subject to fans. Even with BABYMONSTER he pointed out how important fans are, YG family is core of YG entertainment and he included us after thinking hard about the formation of BABYMONSTER.

From past experience I don't trust anything YG said in this video. It was already decided that BM would be a 7 member group. The last 4 months was just clever marketing tactics to get people invested in the 7 members and YG playing us with his "I only wanted a 5 member group but 98% of YG fans/family wanted all 7 so I listened to the YG family". The original YG Family were a real family until YG threw 2NE1 under the bus and eventually disbanded them in order to in his words "debut Blackpink as a prettier version of 2NE1". YG fell in love with a minor who is now his wife and mother of his two children. She was 16 at the time and he was 30. YG even sabotaged the group she was in SWI.T and ensured they failed and disbanded just so he could have her. He personally has been involved in many criminal activities and scandals ranging from illegal gambling, prostitution, coercion, blackmail, drug supplying, threats of physical violence and ruining peoples careers by ensuring they are blacklisted from the entertainment industry.
