That's the reason why BABYMONS7ER had the biggest fanbase..has..& always will..all around the world. INTERNATIONALLY WE ALL SEEN EM CAME UP & ABLE TO SEE THEIR RAW& UNLIMITED TALENT & VERSATILITY..AT THAT AGE...WHICH IS UNIQUE.

Man.....we almost cry when we watched this announcement LIVE last year. OT7 ! Strong 7 !

At that time mostly people thought that Ahyeon was going to be the leader, but maybe she refused to do it or whatever, no one knows. But now they confirmed to have no leader, they told that Ruka leads in the dance practice while Ahyeon and rami mostly leads in the vocal sessions. There isn’t any official leader yet.

As ruka said, during 6 yrs of her training period, about 20 trainees eliminated from baemon project. Most of them went through this circumstance many time. So rora and asa look calm.

And just now Babymonster just got their first win on music show 😭

And at November 15th 2023, you heard about Ahyeon hiatus was devastating news for us. Being a Babymonster stan it is like a roller coaster lol. But now they are together and we all happy.

Great Reaction Anne! YG was not kidding about the Japanese International Group he sent out notices a couple of ago! BABYMONSTER is taking a page out of BlackPink and not have a leader! But in public RUKA will take point because she’s the Unnie! BABYMONSTER has a 3 episode series of the Making of Batter Up where you can see how lost and confused and embarrassed With learning every thing that goes into making a Music Video! It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I was tuned in from episode 1 up to the last and man, YG really knows how to make everything like you know it but you don't. 😅 And this is why I never doubted how talented they are coz I felt like I was with them in their journey from the very beginning. I remember while watching this at that time I was so nervous and was about to cry that he’s going to pick just 5 members. But the last scene was such a relief, u would’ve felt it at that time as well. Somehow I was feeling that yg is going to debut all 7 members but they way he confirmed it till the end that there’s only going to be 5 of them, he definitely knows how to increase suspense and curiosity of fans, I remember how he made everyone sure that he’s never gonna debut all 7 of them 😂😭

I'm a fan since the "YG's next movement" and as a pre-debut fan, we know how proud we are for them during those times. I remember myself staring at the ceiling trying to make it all make sense because it just can't sink in to my mind having only 5 members to debut, then YG announced the ot7😭😭😭 i couldn't be more happy for them back then, it was such a roller coaster of emotions. The most beautiful thing you will see in this video is that the happiness of whoever is announced as a member is not complete because it is divided with the sadness of having to say goodbye to Asa and Rora! Right after Pharita is announced as a member she cheers a little but she immediately hugs Asa because she knows she is excluded, and then Rami cries at the same time because she thinks she has to say goodbye to Asa and Rora! Only when Mr.Yang surprises them by saying that the group will be 7 is their happiness complete, and they won't have to say goodbye to Asa and Rora!

Now u can finally understand how & why we love em so much & how we've been waiting next week to see next episode...

Ahhhhh it was a roller-coaster for me, i stan them from day 1 when the video "yg next movement ", where they announced a new girl group was coming came out, i immediately loved all of them and i was so exited for a new yg girl group, i would wait for every last evaluation ep like my life depended on it haha and i was already tearing up at the end of the last ep of the last evalution, hoping they would keep them together, i really couldn't wait for the announcement, when it finally came out i waited hours since i was working, i was like "I'm going out with my parents to eat dinner so I'll watch it tomorrow" but i couldn't wait anymore so i watched it in the car, i cried 3 tissues out at the end when he said he would listen to us and keep them all 7, i was so so happy, i also ruined my make up hahaha😂 plus i didn't really had a bias yet, but i really loved Rora especially, so i was very happy haha, she is now my bias and i love her so much, i love all of them, they quickly became my new fav group🩷

My Bias was and still is Ace Asa and Rora.. So I was a mess and thankful as the end...

I’m a pre debut Stan and I was there by the time the last evaluation came out… honestly I was so heartbroken and even cried by the time YG announced the members but at the same time I really happy for the others to debut .. after YG announced all 7 members would debut for me it was like in a dream , I couldn’t believe it in the first few minutes but after that I cried tears of joy cause I was so happy for everyone…I think one week later came the video with the reaction of the members and during the video I felt the exact same as you , i still was really nervous even though I already new that all 7 members would debut . After seeing the reactions of BAEMON members I started crying again . ❤❤❤

As far as I'm aware, there is no official leader. They sort of take leadership roles as necessary based on their strengths and ability to add value in that specific situation, so it's more fluid in that respect. Given Ruka is the oldest, she tends to take initiative due to the others' respect, but it's not a firm position in any way. And though I get where you're coming from in terms of him announcing the five members, knowing what you know... that reveal was one of the most stressful things for a lot of people. Go check out others' reactions from that time and see how many genuinely got angry at YG for doing that. In particular how he stated, more than once, that he hadn't chose Rora or Asa.

I cried first time I saw the videos and I cried again with you and their reaction 😅😭 there is already so much love for these girls, I feel like they're my babies ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The reason I was feeling bad at the reaction video was bcz of Rora and Asa, knowing they have spent sm in the evaluations, working so hard, they must have got disappointed that they weren’t chosen in the end by yg but bcz fans urged and requested them to debut all 7 of them.

I still can’t believe he announced it like that. Asa and Rora were crushed until he finally revealed he would take all 7. He should have just said that from the beginning to spare them that sadness, rather than trying to get a dramatic moment for clicks. He made them feel like they are lesser members.

I remember this live nearly 500k people watching and reading all the cry emoji and freaking out in live chat! I have a feeling its alway going to be 7 but in this live make me really nervous when all the 5 is named! This is really not a good feeling back then watching this live! 🤣😈

They definitely portrayed Ahyeon as having the most leader energy in Last Evaluation and looks like it was intended for her to be the leader, but her hiatus made that a little weird with her being gone, while they haven't announced having a leader I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her take on that role whether it is official or not.

If you have not checked out Everglow, you need to. They are the closest thing to Blackpink and BabyMonster that exists. All gorgeous, beautiful voices and unique vocals, all can rap, excellent dancers, and MV are YG quality. This is them singing live = BM Stuck in the Middle quality vocals.

I was ready to fight everybody at work, when the announcement first came out.

Definitely check out Kiss of Life. They are new as well and great vocalists. However, you have to watch their videos in a particular order, as they are connected and tell a story. It's a very intricate and interesting debut. The order by which people should watch the M/V's is: Sugarcoat, Countdown, Kitty Cat, Play Love Games, Bye My Neverland, and Shhh. Then Bad News and Nobody Knows. In April, they released Midas Touch, but check out a live performance of the B-side track Nothing. There isn't a music video, but it is a fan favorite.

Watching this live as it came out, I felt so baited by YG in that announcement hahaha - It was very emotional. During the evaluations, I really loved Rami's vocals, but after seeing debut and watching these again with you, Asa is so lowkey crazy good in terms of tone for her rap, it's the perfect tone that I like. I didn't appreciate her vocals enough either during the evaluations - Super happy we ended up getting all 7 and that Ahyeon was able to be there for debut as well!

The ages of the girls as shown on the cards are now off by about 2 years. (Eg.) Chiquita is actually 15 now.

if there are 5 members maybe babymonster will not have as much impact as we know that one of the attractive things that others are surprised by is ASA's unique rap line and rora's sweet voices if OT7 is not complete babymonster will still be popular but not as fast as expected like it is happening now They are the most recognized talent in the entire 5th gen other fans can help if someone is eliminated from the baby monster like what happened ellit hybe didn't listen to the sentiment of the fans where they left TWO talented and popular members which was the reason why no one talent left in illit because the ones they eliminate are those with talents so until now the talent of the ellit is being bashed

Behind the scenes of everything please

The last evaluation might have been shot during Apr-May 2022 (ep.1-7 BP & solo missions) and Aug 2022 (ep.7-8 group missions), and did the post production before released during Mar-Apr 2023. The final episode might included the additional shot of YHS himself talked about final line-up announcement on 12-May-2023. These girls were still practicing all the way along without knowing the final decision until the same date as we were. We have really witnessed the raw reaction from these talented girls, and I felt emphathy to them at that moment. Perhaps they could only knew that they had chance to debut under YGE but unsure of whether can participate in Babymonster group or not. > P.S. How could I know when the videos were filming? ==> Answer: Watched last evaluation behind the scenes #1 - #4. In #1, it was Ahyeon birthday party in April. In #2, they had all lived in the dormitory while filming which were 30 days of BP missions and 30 days of solo mission. In #3, they all had outdoor activities together which could be the same time as the video filming period was. In #4, they celebrated Chuseok festival together (KR's mid-autumn harvest festival) and talked about the hope of passing the evaluation.

There is still a lot of Babymonster Content available (Live Performances, Variety Content, Behind The Scenes / Making Ofs, Interviews etc.) if you're interested. I would suggest to start with their rather substantial Making Ofs for their MVs and also add some of the recent Variety Content and Live Performances into the mix. As for other groups. I'm not sure what you already know. But if I look at your playlists than there are some real obvious girl groups missing (don't know anything about boy groups). I would say especially IVE, aespa and (G)I-DLE should be highest priority. Maybe Kiss Of Life after that. You could also add solo artists like the legendary IU (or others like BiBi, Taeyeon, Chung Ha) to your rotation or go with "older" groups that helped make K-Pop into what it is today (2nd Gen K-Pop legends like Girl's Generation or 2NE1). As one of my personal 2nd Gen favorites I would also add AOA. So many choices... I would start with IVE and IU ;)

Hi Anne I really enjoy your reactions I’ve been following since the Dream Academy reactions (can’t wait for Katseye to debut soon on June or July)and have already checked many of your videos from before that Since you asked for recommendations for what to react to Here’s some that come to mind A group that has recently debuted is VVUP they have a prerelease song called Doo Doom Chit and the debut called Locked On they’re pretty good I’m keeping an eye on them Another group is Young Posse they debuted last year with Macaroni Cheese and recently had a comeback with XXL they’re very quirky you’ll know what I mean if you check them out And finally there’s Kiss of Life They’re my favorite girl group that debuted last year They recently had a comeback with Midas Touch. Check it out and if you like it I recommend watching all the MVs that they have released in order because there’s a storyline through out them it’s really worth it Anyway keep up the reactions 👍

BM was supposed to debut with 5 Members before CHIQUITA and Pharita came. I think even YG don't know if 7MEMBERS in GG will do well , knowing that they never debut more than 4 before. He already wants to debut all of them but wants people to also understand and love them all and it work. even if it was 5 members,Rora and Asa won't leave the agency, they will make them debut in another future group. YG knows what he is doing. being a CEO is not easy, you have to make hard decisions. YG is just doing what he have to do even if he knows people will hate him more and more.
