Most of the people dumping on BM for the song Batter Ip were the fandoms of other groups. They are scared of BM because they have an insane level of talent. Plus, those same people said Batter Up sounds just like Blackpink, which it didn’t. They have similarities because it’s the YG sound. And those SAME people attacked again with Stuck in the Middle saying BM is inconsistent with their sound and it will confuse people. Hypocrites. They are amazing and more talented than any other GG out right now and they can’t find any actual flaws to complain about, so they fall back on the same lame excuses they used so ineffectively against Blackpink. BM is here to stay and slay.

It's not fans who lose patience to wait for them to ready tho. but it's YG itself that lose patience from those negative scandals. If they didn't debut Babymonster at that time. from the news of BP won't renew contract under YG to YG and GD break up. the impact from these 2 news are too huge. so YG has to do something in hurry. it's not fans fault since most of them can wait for Ahyeon to recover. but YG can't they can't let their stock price go even more downhill. they know that they are not ready to make a perfect debut for them at that time. but they need to stop the loss. that's it.

I would say Batter Up doesn’t show what baby monster is capable of. Sheesh is the best title track for baby monster tbh, actually represents them (adding to its their debut track). But Like That, Dream, and SITM really are their best songs hands down.
